@@jevinday Dune Part 1 and Avatar 2 are probably the only live action films in the last 5 years that used 3D to its fullest potential. Dune created so much space between the foreground and the background, that it felt isolating and vast, two things that work heavily in favor of the film, if you know the contents of it.

The thing I love about Hans Zimmer that sets him apart for me is that he doesn't just write movie music, he builds soundscapes that paint sonic realities. Texture and form in sound. You go into a Hans Zimmer movie and it's like surfing huge waves, but through sound, complete with the thrill of riding the wave whizzing along, then the terror of being washing machined around and death being the breath away you can't take, until you break free and surface and you are still alive. It's not simply an auditory experience, it's a full body transcendental journey through higher realms of consciousness catalyzed by the myriad sound waves tickling, invading, and bombarding your consciousness from each and every speaker in that theatre. It's not merely music, it's the very soul of the universe made manifest through sound wrapping around you and sucking you into its infinite embrace. You feel at once in a singular moment and also spread across all time and space. I think he is one of the best movie creators of all time via the medium of sound. Spectacular work.

Who in the world thinks "I'm gonna use an electric clarinet to bring this world to life." Zimmer is on a whole other level, he's a genius. Frank Herbert is proud!
Hans Zimmer is a massive fan of the book which is the main reason why he chose to compose this instead of Tenet. So having him to make the music for Dune was absolutely brilliant. His score is really just as good as the film

Saw a local performance from my cities orchestra of this song. And the lady that sang the song stole the show. Her voice was so powerful that it drowned out the rest of the instruments in a good way. That was the best live music performance I have ever witnessed truly breathtaking.
I think one of the things that made this soundtrack so special was the influence of both very primal sounding instruments (drums, raw wild gutteral vocals) and futuristic robotic ominous sounds
I just love Dune so much!!!! It is one of my if not my favourite movie!!!!!! And Hans Zimmer did such an amazing job in interstellar and every movie he’s ever been in.

@@chareeshlingala423 they'll hopefully be carrying far more energy actually since the second part is more thrilling and suspenseful, going by the book
0:29 It's like she was chanting a spell in the form of music. Anyone who hears it is caught in it's magic and now can't stop listening. Absolutely amazing, all of them.
I absolutely love this sound I legit just watched dune 1 almost 2 weeks ago going in with i mean 0 Knowledge whatsoever 😳 but I had seen part 2 on Friday and all I hear is this lady singing and I love it sm 😂😂❤
wanna bet? Heard it once..that was more than enough.
😅@@momo23461
I love seeing Hans Zimmer working with the same people. The same cellist as in the Time performance video!
That’s Tina Guo
Tina Guo was also in the Sabaton video Steel Commanders.
She was at the a different Hans Zimmer concert event too , I remember her from the TDKR part
pretty sure that dude with the Einstein hair is a long time collaborator too
He is working with Tina Guo for a very long time:)) Since her teen years if I remember well. He told this on his Budapest concert a few year ago.😁☺️
Dune’s soundtrack is a work of art, and Hans Zimmer deserves a second Oscar for it
He definitely does!
Here after he won the oscar
Wow, wow, wow!!
So incredibly powerful and atmospheric..wow.
Leaving Caladan is my favourite. Very emotional. Its my most listened to song on Spotify.
You should try listening to the Sardaukar chant.
Me too. The Leaving Caladan track and scene are the heart of the movie imo. One of the best and most epic scenes in movie history
Mine too!
Most powerful damn music I've ever heard
Ears nearly burst in the theaters but it was so damn good...
It's exactly the kind of music I envisioned reading Dune
Same!!
I went to the theatre alone during lockdown. I had the whole theatre room to myself. The entire room was shaking with this breathtaking soundtrack. It was incredible.
That sounds GLORIOUS! 👌
Omg that's wonderful
Today I watched Dune: Part 2 in theater and I hear you bro it was fooooockingggg awesome.❤
I just watch part 2 yess this happen omg I felt like I was in a another world
Same. It was the first movie I saw in the theater after 3.15.20.
Bruh, I get goosebumps every time I listen to this soundtrack.
Yes totally, my brains just turns off
I had an honour to listen it Live in London, have u ever felt constant goosebump waves, i was keep forgetting where I was . Mind blowing performance
This soundtrack ist so freaking amazing.. it gives me goose bumbs every single time. Love it!
Everytime I think Hans Zimmer has left me baffled, he does it again. He manages to make me go crazy again.
Hans Zimmer should win his second Oscar for Dune. He has been long overdue for a second Oscar in his career by now 🙌
Edit : I KNEW IT!!!
No
Yeah but Jonny Greenwood has been long overdue for his first Oscar as well
@@matthewmurdock1074 I know that but looking at the Best Original Music so far, Zimmer is definitely winning an Oscar for Dune
Zimmer doesn’t need an award to make me like his music anymore than I already do.
He will.
THE FLUTE PERSON FROM GAME AWARDS!!!
Bro I said the exact same thing. Glad to know other people went on an epic music binge too haha.
That's a duduk, an Armenian flute I think.
Even the cello player
He is an incredible artist. He has played with the best like Yanni where he played a Duduk a 3000 year old Armenian instrument.
@@scp-2348 it's a Lyricon (an electronic wind controller from the mid 1970s.)
Pure, Epic, Magic from all on that stage. But for me that voice gives me goose bumps every time. That is the sound that says Dune (I) for me.🥰
Zimmer is just on another level. Who else can write a high concept score & make it sound ancient & futuristic at the same time… brilliant.

Agreed but … just imagine how insane a Zimmer TENET score would be…
@@TheRockinBK well I feel like Ludwig Gorranson managed to make the Tenet score feel so Hans Zimmery. If I didn't know who Gorrason is, I would just assumed that it's Zimmer who is because it does feel like Zimmer put his hands all over the screen with his music
@@TheRockinBK Tenet was a mediocre film by Nolan standards.
@@Erasureeraser I think Ludwig did an absolutely spectacular job in Tenet & I do agree you can still feel Zimmer’s presence in it but I would have liked to see what crazy innovations Hans would’ve done with the idea of inverted music.. but oh well, hopefully we’ll still see a Zimmer-Nolan reunion in the future!
@@fernhausluv44 I disagree, the more I watch Tenet the more I realize what an insanely intricate & meticulous puzzle it is. Plus It keeps you on your toes with its intensity. I don’t think there’s any other director than Nolan with the mental capacity to pull off such a project.
ive waited for this movie, all of my long life. i was not expecting to also fall in love with the soundtrack. geniuses.
This score gives me goosebumps every time.
Goosebumps BIG TIME!!!!
Mee,toooooooooo.Waow,JUST waow...😟😟😯😯😯😉🤟👌👍🌈💎
This needs to be in the oscars live performance
It’s ridiculously good like just ridiculous
this is not live 😞
It would create havoc among the audience. It feels beyond.
@@Obsonaudio People don't catch that it isn't live. At 1:47 the singer is over a foot away from the mic and facing Zimmer to her side but there's no drop off in sound as there would be in a live performance.
It would win the oscar for most scarf worn by a single band.
Totally addicted of this song.
Name?
0:29 goosebumps
One of the greatest soundtracks ever! Zimmer is an absolute GOAT along with John Williams!
It's up there with interstellar
Bless the Maker and His water.
Bless the coming and going of Him.
May His passage cleanse the world.
May He keep the world for His people.
Having had the privilege of seeing him live, I can just say the CHILLS, man, the chills. They have you right on the first beat of the drums. Not only are the musicians individually so talented but them as a whole ensemble playing together with such chemistry is just something else entirely. Hans Zimmer is a real genius, living LEGEND.
Müthiş güçlü, harekete geçirici, etkileyici, sanki bilinçaltına hitap eden bir ses. İnanılmaz bir kombinasyon. Hans Zimmer bir efsane
I'm glad Dune bodied everyone in the Oscars. Maybe could have won another one tbh. No competition. What a movie and what a score.
Deffo should have won Best Movie
The thing is, this was part 1 and part 2 is way more epic. The rise of a new power and the birth of the Kwisatz Haderach. Mor Oscars to be qon
When part two comes out, it'll win all the awards. No questions asked.
Damnnnn! The vocalist’s power and control is just masterful
I'd sell my soul to see a concert presentation of sketch book for the movie, you can tell he made enough music for the entire book catalog lol
I saw a concert version of some of dunes music 3 days ago performed by the same people which we can see in the video. It was pretty awesome
Ive seen it in London , 23rd of march 2022, unfucking believable . Outstanding .
The film and the music are simply epic! The woman's voice still gives me goosebumps. Simply unique.
There is so much righteous anger in that vocal riff! Hans nails it every single time.
Hans Zimmer is such a versatile composer. We never know what to expect next 👏🏻
Another masterpiece from the maestro!!🙌🏾
It’s so crazy how Hans zimmer is able to capture the essence of a sience fiction movie.
Every time I hear this particular sound, I get goosebumps. This is incredible.
I love when artists put everything in their crafrt! Her voice is so otherworldly! Nice.
Seeing this in IMAX was a damn privilege and honor I wish I could relive again and again.
A moment of silence for all those who didn’t see this masterpiece in the cinemas.
Like me 😣😢😭
I'm banking on them re-releasing it right before part 2 comes out.
Me 😭
RIP all those who didn’t see it in IMAX
I deeply regret..
Watching these musicians perform is like meeting all the final bosses of your most nightmarish games at once
I am absolutely 100 percent positive frank herbert would approve this music as the soundtrack to dune
Live performances of people singing and playing instruments is truly splendid
Hans Zimmer is beyond legend. He is the musician we need but not the one we deserve.

Holy shite, nice reference bru!
That perfect scene when her song plays in the background always gives me goosebumps
This is a very magnificent song! I do enjoy the symphonic tones composed, conducted, and produced by Hans Zimmer. What a genius!
Hans Z brought just the right edge, knowledge and sounds. This is brutally beautiful, just like Arrakis/Dune.
I just love Dune so much!!!! It is one of my if not my favourite movie!!!!!! And Hans Zimmer did such an amazing job in interstellar and every movie he’s ever been in.
You should read the books too they're so good.
Always great to see Tina Guo with Zimmer. When they both together you can tell the music will be magnificent
That drums sound is like out of this world, just elevates the whole movie experience
You can really see how much they love making music. Absolutely beautiful.
Hans Zimmer was busy composing soundtrack of Dune and hence he recommended Ludwig Göransson for Tenet. Both nailed in both the movies.
Goosebumps everytime !!!! Feels like ancient beings and souls will rise up hearing this !!!!!
Dune became my most favourite movie and I believe Hans' soundtrack plays a huge role in it. Dennis is a genius, and his collaboration with Hans is the best thing ever, I am so happy this thing has happened.
Amazing. The best music ever. Thank you❤
I reminds me of some of the mantras that Tibetan monks chant...very very cool and creative! This is some of the most awesome music I have ever heard...Hans Zimmer is a genius!!
There is something that is dual about this, both epically grand and yet down-to-earth at the same damn time.
Grounded in a sense of immersive "reality" paired with a sense of it being so majestic and grand that it is removed from anything ordinary..
I dont feel like i manage to explain it properly but i hope i managed to get some of it.
Did you you mean dull ?
@@batteryjuice3041 no i meant dual as in two parts
@@larsuppling981 Yes indeed, two notes and some drums. Hollywood does the rest for your mind.. incredible drums makes me miss the greats

Lo más maravilloso que he escuchado en el último tiempo, sin dudas muy buena interpretación, es épico 🤘🏻✨
Seeing this live performance must feel like a spiritual experience tbh, already feel the shivers😌
Je l'ai vu hier soir en concert à Paris c'était extraordinaire ! Inoubliable
My husband and I saw him live a few years back and it was one of the best shows I've ever been to! I'd love to see him again, especially after Dune!
Why does Hans Zimmer playing guitar feel like a symbol of hope?! ❤️❤️❤️
Hans gives AMAZING live performances. He needs to tour again ASAP
He does already! Go Look for it: Hans Zimmer Live Tour 2022. I just saw him yesterday in Antwerp!
The best soundtrack of all time. Nothing like it.
