I just want to thank you for bringing many great memories with this flick. When I was in Anaheim as a kid in the mid 70's, my physics teacher from Western High - Dr. Alan Tudge, physics teacher there had a summer job riding these guys. Its been so long ago, but I think it was the fire truck when I first found out. The guy was exceptional and fit right in the atmosphere - and was a stellar teacher in his craft as well. I miss the guy as he's passed years ago. When I visit (sporadically at best since I'm on the east coast now) I ride the main street rides in memory of him. I agree - a wonderful break from the running around to get on the "top rides" but I'd argue - take the time to relax and enjoy the pace fora ll its worth. Thanks for a great memory lane trip.
Main Street, USA is my favorite part of Disneyland! It’s an awesome homage to a time long forgotten with its beautiful music loop and all of the vintage buildings. And of course, I LOVE all of the old school jalopies and the horse drawn carriages. Thanks for posting Chris!!
I love all your videos but this one is one of my favorites. I love the Main Street vehicles and I always take a ride down Main Street each visit. Thank you for sharing
On my 100th visit to WDW its hard to find stuff you havent done so i finally rode the vehicles in the magic kingdom. Its my new tradition for all upcoming trips :) still need to get the original happiest place on earth though ^.^
Yay! It's that time again for another video from Provost Park Pass! One of our favorite times of the week. We learned many facts from this one that we didn't even know about. Also, love the interactions with the Cast Members. They make the park as magical is it is today! Thank you for another fantastic video! 😀✨👍
I learn so much through your edutainment videos--like the fact that the first car to drive Mainstreet at Disneyland will approach 1.5 million miles in 2021. That's pretty amazing considering that I'm hoping to reach 300,000 miles during the serviceable life of my Prius. Thanks! I really enjoyed this one.
Getting ready for my Disneyland trip tomorrow by binging all of your videos! I'm excited to show my boyfriend all of these secrets and facts I've learned from you guys (as well as try all the yummy food you've shown) since it'll be his first visit.
THANK YOU for the information for wheelchair riders, I have never ridden because my daughter uses a wheelchair! I am so excited for our next trip to actually be able to take her on the horse carriage.
I love this kind of stuff and I am just like you when you know you are in a place where Walt himself stood or sat or was just there! I will never forget standing in Walt's apartment above the fire station on main street. You could almost hear Walt playing with his kids and enjoying his creation. (I got really choked up there too!) I will be sure to check out the vehicles from now on!
These are a great part of Disney history but my favorite part of this video was your cartwheel. The fact that you tried means everything. Great job Chris.
I remember when the cars were at Disney world in Orlando decades ago. Sadly they no longer use them there. Miss them a lot. Will have to get to Disney land one day to bring back some memories.
Would love to make it to Disneyland to ride all the main street vehicles. Thanks for showing us temperature all. We've been to Magic Kingdom and my absolute favorite is their Trolley Show. Didn't realize that California didn't have it.. I've seen some videos of the Mary Poppins show in Anaheim. It would be awesome to hear the background of it and other groups in Disneyland. Great video --as always, Chris!
I like your videos and especially like the trivia and tidbits. Sorry to say the math doesn't work for the vehicles going 23,000 mile a year: Lets assume no stops at all in an 8 hour day times 4 MPH times 365 days a year equals 11,680 miles per year. With stops, around half that. But don't stop digging for rare Disney history and tidbits. Keep on sharing.
If it's anything like when I was a kid, @@provostparkpass - some four decades ago, now - I bet it'll still be the Omibus. Though, I have to admit, I could go for some horse trolley time, too. Thanks for reminding me to get back into all the little fun things at the park , too. Glad you're there to get me to slow down and experience all of it, like when I was a kid.
I love how when you make a video on some of the most un noticable attractions the cast members are SOOO open to talk about the vehicles and attraction 😂
the answer 1,449,000 for 63 years . Side note love this channel and as a person with a disability Love your review of persons with disability at Disneyland was really helpful
Paul!! Thank you so much for figuring that out. You’re so smart!! And you are also so freaking awesome. Glad you like our disabilities video. We put a lot of work into that one. #DisneylandIsForEveryone
3:37 and at that moment I realized, that a dog can dance better than me 11:28 I did a little calculations (and by “I” I mean Siri”) and I got 1,449,000
I’m sort of new too the Chanel. have you guys done a vid on the Main Street Nickelodeon/arcade? also since it’s been in the news lately the Main Street movie theater with out the Merch
Based on the average number of miles per year. And today June 19th. The 170th day of 2019. The red buggy car that started it all is approximately at 1,459,712 miles.
I think the Omnibus spent a time at WDW. If I recall they trucked it there after EPCOT opened. Sometime back, but my pea sized brain seems to remember it.
You guys will never fail to amuse me
Awe thank you!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Hi Provost! I’m going to Disneyland Paris! Any tips? (Food, rides, lines, attractions, etc.) If you have any, please reply! •~•
