- ENGLISH SUBTITLES AVAILABLE! Portion Boys takes part in UMK Contest for New Music 2023 with their song Samaa taivasta katsotaan. Although the party anthem has been made with humor in mind, it has an important message. Samaa taivasta katsotaan is meant to bring about feelings of joy and togetherness.
Finland’s representative in Eurovision Song Contest will be chosen in the live UMK final on 25 February at 9:00 PM EET. The show can be watched live worldwide at Yle Areena streaming service with English commentary available, as well as broadcast on Yle TV1, YleX , Yle Radio Suomi and Yle X3M.

Creo que si regresa esa regla ahora no habría problema llevamos dos años seguidos de top 3 con canciones mayoritariamente en idiomas que no son inglés

At 0:30, they actually say that people fight windmills in the Netherlands. And after that they say, you get good pasta in 'the boot country'(because italy is sorta shaped like a boot).
Very danceable and very kitch/camp, feel good song. Listening to a few more of their songs and watching their other videos I expected something funnier or stranger though.

I don't know. I think this managed to be crazier than cha cha cha. They are both super-fun though. As a fan of metal I enjoy this one more.
But generally WTF is happening with UMK 2023?!? 7 strong and very different options. Well produced audio and visuals, English translations everywhere. UMK is becoming a bright example for every National Selection to follow. Even if the Fins pick their worst option ( as they often like to do), they 'll still end up with a strong and interesting entry! Epic!
