Thanet Parkway - Kent's Newest Station

Welcome to Thanet parkway, a railway station in Cliffsend, Kent, that serves Discovery Park Enterprise Zone and new housing developments. It opened on 31 July 2023.
What I didnt mention in the video, as quite a controversial CON is the card-only ticket machines, the only way to pay with cash is via a guard onboard the train
All services at Thanet Parkway are operated by Southeastern using Class 375 and 395 EMUs.
The typical off-peak service in trains per hour is:
1 tph to London St Pancras International
1 tph to Margate via Ramsgate
The station is also served by a number of peak hour services between Ramsgate, London Charing Cross and London Cannon Street via Tonbridge.

Whilst 70 minutes to London St.Pancras from Thanet Parkway is pretty good, 90 minutes to the Medway Towns in Kent certainly isn't anything to write home about. Maybe it's time now to start thinking about reopening the short spur to the North Kent line a mile on from Canterbury West, as mentioned in the KCC's Kent Rail Strategy in 2021.

Great video, loved the drone footage! Not really sure why Thanet Parkway doesnt have much to offer, apart from the trains of course, hopefully everything will change soon. Still i have no clue why the station is missing something here, the platform is narrow and it looks a bit plain. No toilets, and No buses either! (Yet)
I also love the music btw, i'm pretty sure it's Joakim Karud but not sure which one, mind if i know the music at 0:32?

The map showing how to access the station by train is wrong, the line diverges from ramsgate towards either canterbury or dover is at minster, not ramsgate.

Lovely video! Like you and others have mentioned the stations definitely seems lacking in some areas (card-only machines, narrow + low platforms, no toilets, no day-one bus service for a parkway station!) but I can't deny that the exterior looks good, and new stations are always a plus.
