Hello, you put the cap that holds the mini backwards the deeper portion is meant to encompass that top portion with the mini being on the shallow portion and you'd use less of the putty and improve stability of the model.

you've made a right pills of assembling that handle!!! 😄😄 However, you did show how useful the handle is when painting tricky parts, so mission accomplished well done!
Five caps is a bit of a limit though, some handles use everyday 2L bottle caps...

The base magnet is so you can put the handle down, standing it more securely on e.g. a steel mat or tray

Use pliers to squeeze those bars together so the metal piece slides right down to the base of it.

I'm debating on whether or not to get this or Game Envy's Hobby Handel. Both have their advantages; the Hobby Handle has an option for a 56mm or a 76mm stability bar and you can use either a cork mounting set up or a bottle cap with blue tack set up. On the other hand the Jucoci has the magnet feature which would be much more stable on the work bench and the handle looks like it's much more ergonomically friendly if I'm doing longer painting sessions. Also, there is a big price difference too; the Hobby Handel is $40 with all the options + shipping , where as the Jucoci is $14.99 at Amazon with free two day shipping (I'm a Prime member). Decisions...Decisions...Decisions.....Hmmmm 🤔🤔🤔
