Wahid murad was 45 year he still was looking so good as a hero .Age was not the factor if it is then suleiman khan,Aamir khan and Shah rukh would not be hero at the age of 60s.
May Allah grant peace to all departed souls in the hereafter. He was right but there is some exaggeration in the statement about Nurjahan and music composers. Two best rated composers in Pakistan, Robin Ghosh and Suhail Rana never preferred Madam in their composition. Suhail Rana did just once where as Robin Ghosh never.

جب دلیپ کمار نے پہلی مرتبہ اولڈ کردار کیا ان کی عمر 54 برس تھی وحید صاحب بھی اولڈ کردار کر رہے تھے مگر افسوس کہ ان کی فلم مکمل نہ ہو سکی
بطور انسان بھی وحید صاحب بہت اچھے تھے چھپ کر لوگوں کی مدد کرتے تھے کبھی اس کی نمائش نہیں کی

Telling from my interaction with Supreme Mega Star Waheed Murad and following him as a diehard fan since I was a class 5th student , I have to say in all honesty and sincerity that Waheed was the handsomest, smartest, most stylish, energetic, mercurial , charismatic , chic, suave , dapper , trendy and classy personage and an artist beyond comparison . He was the most versatile, hugely accomplished and highly celebrated mega star who had his own distinct and distinguished trademark Waheed Murad style of acting and song picturization. He didn't copy Dilip Kumar or Raj Kapoor like some of his contemporary actors . A versatile actor like him neither came before him , nor in his lifetime , nor will one come to emulate him in the years to come ! According to four top film directors Hassan Tariq, Iqbal Yousaf , Iqbal Akhtar and Fareed Ahmad , " SUPER STAR WAHEED MURAD IS ONE ACTOR IN THE INDO PAK WHO DOESN'T NEED ANY DIRECTOR TO GUIDE HIM IN ACTING OR SONG PICTURIZATION , NOR DOES HE NEED ANY REHEARSAL FOR PERFORMING ANY ROLE ! ACTING COMES TO HIM AS NATURALLY AS LEAVES TO A TREE ! " Waheed was also endowed with the most sterling qualities of head and heart . Those who met him even once would gravitate towards him like butterflies and honey bees rushing towards a beautiful scented rose. Similarly , people would run to him hysterically , with tears and sobs to express their intense affection for him that I personally saw at Murree and studios at Lahore. People's intense infatuation with Waheed which at times reached the highest crescendoes and touched the sky the way the fans of Elvis Presley , Michael Jackson , Ronaldo , Dilip Kumar or Shah Rukh Khan would express their love for their favourite super stars. In one instance , his sports car was bled red with kisses by throngs of adoring damsels and young college and school girls at Karachi. In another incident , a Pushtoon lady from a highly wealthy family in KPK , who was a diehard fan of Waheed , consumed poison after hearing the sad and shocking news of Waheed's tragic ,untimely death. Though she was saved , yet the matter was kept secret as per Pushtoon traditions. Similarly ladies of some Nawab and Landlord families in KPK , Punjab and Sindh are still intensely enamoured of Waheed Murad. Despite being a most adored top notch mega star from an extremely wealthy , influential and respected family , with a whole slew of servants, drivers , watchmen and gardners working at his bungalows at Karachi and Lahore , Waheed never took his palacial bungalows or huge wealth to his head like other vain , shallow and mean people nor did he brag about his wealth or family background . The affluence of Waheed could be easily gauged from the fact that he had inherited from his parents' property worth billions of rupees , including a big Bungalow at the most expensive and posh DHA-1 Karachi, another similarly huge bungalow at the commercial heart of the posh , costly and famous mainTariq Road , two flats again at the highly expensive and modern commercial area of Sidco Centre Sadar Karachi , a six canal most expensive bungalow at the highly pricy commercial area of Guberg- 3 Lahore , besides an expensive flat at Kanal Road Lahore. His father owned Elite Cinema Hyderabad and had half share in Naz Cinema MA Jinnah Road , Karachi with a big film distribution center. All these huge properties worth billions of rupees were owned by his father and ultimately Waheed. Nisar Murad Sahab was a most prominent and wealthy film distributor of Indo Pak, hailing from a highly respected and rich family of Sialkot ! Unlike many of his co actors , Waheed never had a craving to accumulate wealth. His only passion was acting and producing quality films to please his fans and satisfy his urge . Being a role model and epitome of positivity and love , Waheed never felt jealous of others' wealth or fame nor did he brook any malice even against his worst and meanest haters . Being a highly intelligent , sensitive and perceptive man , Waheed knew all the hypocrits and creeps of the film industry inside out , INCLUDING HIS CO- ACTORS, ACTRESSES , DIRECTORS AND STORY WRITERS , and in particular those who posed to be his best friends and flatteringly learnt and copied the nuances of acting and song picturization from him, yet devilishly and disgracefully conspired against him and did his character assassination most shamelessly towards toppling him from the top position and getting the films that were being offered to him so profusely. While the magnanimous WAHEED MURAD did maintain his glacial cool , he was definitely hurt to the core and fell prey to severe depression and related ailments that proved too fatal for him . He ultimately passed away to his heavenly abode with a cardiac arrest at the age of 45 in the prime of his youth like Elvis Presley. May Allah Almighty shower His choicest blessings upon Super Star Waheed Murad in heaven. May Allah Almighty's wrath befall all those who were involved in the conspiracies against Waheed and hastened his untimely death ! Aameen.

At the end of 60s decade many bi Bollywoods actors careers suffered, Rajendra kumar,Manoj kumar,Sunil dutt even the great Dilip kumar and superstar Rajesh khannas careers suffered but to say it was because of some conspiracy thats totally ridiculous it was because the style of film making had changed 70s was the start of fast dialogue delivery and action films while the 60s was the era of the romantic movies,Dilip Kumar,sunil dutt, Rajesh Khanna etc,etc managed to revive their career in action movies and many didn't and happens around the world a new decade brings new talent, unfortunately Waheed murad sahib(RIP) suffered a similar fate,
