H4, H6 campaigns are sometimes much harder i think. But Heroes V campaigns are also really great! H6 and H7 are the prequels of H5! H6-H7-H5 is the order

If you dont capture first town it wont trigger Druids to cast weekly grow bs. Best is to rush cities.

Man, this game really looks like trash compared to HoMM3. I'll take the dense stylistic information of HoMM3 over the "muh graphics" of trash like HoMM5 any day.
It's interesting how little the individual units stand out from one another. It's a great example of when "more is not better" in terms of design. In H3, each unit REALLY shines as something unique. In H4, it started to become muddled but wasn't awful. But here in H5, it just looks like a bunch of colored messes slapping each other. 🙄 The sounds are pretty bland and timid as well. Very unfortunate.

Nearly every unit in HoMM5 has a unique ability. I don't understand this comment. Also what do you mean by "when more is less"? HoMM3 has more factions than HoMM5 even before HOTA. What is the "more" you are thinking of? There are the same 7 tiers available in both games.

@@shemsuhor8763 I wasn't referring to their special abilities (which are essentially invisible). I was referring to the character designs. At a distance, the battlefield looks like a mess of colors. Sure, if a character is shown full-screen, some of the designs are decent, but none of them hold a candle to HoM&M3's design, animations, sounds, etc.
Finally, I stated "more is not better", not "more is less". And I didn't mean that this was about how many units were in the game, nor factions/castles. Again, I meant in terms of character *design*, map design, map objects, locations, sound design, etc. Cheers! :)
Yea bro horned demons, pikemen, swordsman, imps, gnolls etc. Are all so unique in terms of gameplay

@@shemsuhor8763 I think this is ingame music, in 5.5 they smash all of the previous games soundtracks, and they play randomly. Cuz intown music always the same, and switching correctly
If anyone is having trouble with Gilraen mission on 5.5 Impossible. Just build your Agrael with Ballista + Searing Arrows, I know it's boring but it's the best build imo(didn't really find anything of substance online for campaign). Also go for Light Magic asap after initial ballista build, you will most likely gain resurrection in this map with expert light magic and it's pretty useful in later maps.
Don't take first town not to trigger druid event -> either go for top left town or go straight for Gilraen(I beat him at the start of 2nd week, quadruple ballista + flaming arrows is pretty broken) -> after beating him take all towns except the on at the start since they can't build tavern in it, explore the entire map, build mage guilds and Agrael will be pretty strong for the rest of the campaign.
I feel like Impossible is sometimes easier than vanilla Heroic because you transfer artifacts that also have bonuses. Not sure about this one yet, someone who's play both can maybe correct me.
The HOMM3 community continues to shit on HOMM5, at every turn they get. Imagine going into Lexiav's Twitch chat, just to shit on the game. Why would you join a stream, with a type of content/game you do not like?

Gooning is the best feature of Lexiav streams.
what is gating?
It's what Lexiav calls gooning.
@master_jon It's essentially a special ability and/or spell that summons creatures "out of nowhere" to screw with the opponent's army. They don't count as "true" units, so when you lose them, you haven't lost any army. Similar to "summoning elementals", etc.
@@Novastar.SaberCombat yeah just thought of elementals, seems like a highly abusable mechanic.
Gating is also heavily nerfed in the .5 mod.
