Dude...you rock! I was so tired of lukewarm showers despite having steaming hot water in the rest of the apartment. I followed your instructions and it took me about two minutes to fix it. Didn't even have to turn off the water. Now I have HOT showers! Thank you!
My mom paid someone to fix her shower so he took the money and didn't do it right. A quick and easy fix thanks to your video my dude. Much appreciated.
You have helped me twice now, first when I first moved into my house with this particular and specific valve cartridge, and your video showed me how to adjust the hot vs cold, and now almost three years later, after a freeze split the cartridge down the side and I needed to replace it. I tried all over the place, even going to a professional plumbing supplier, and they couldn't even find this cartridge in their catalogue. Came here, got the product number for the set, and in under 2 minutes I had the replacement cartridge ordered.
New single wide we are in had get shower valve replaced well Maintenance left it factory set and your now our hero No more using the main bathroom our master bathroom is back to operational fully. Thank you my father passed away few years ago and I'm 40 years old and only thing I know how to do is in the garage tasks now I feel accomplished and didn't have feel useless and have to call maintenance yet again.
Thank you for this! I’m a young girl in my first place and everything house related seemed so overwhelming at first. Following this video though I was able to figure out/fix my cold shower issue. Thank you so much!
The guy who fixed the leak in our faucet "fixed" the hot water inhibitor. It's so cold it's barely tolerable for showering. I've been boiling water for baths. This video saved me so much stress. Thank you!
You are the f'in man. We just moved into a new home and my wife was disappointed to find out her jetted tub didn't get very hot. Watched this 3 minute video and fixed it within 10 minutes. My stop limit valve was a little different looking than this but seeing how it functioned I was able to easily figure it out. Thank you my wife is both impressed and excited :)
AHHHHH. I can finally have a HOT shower or bath!!!!!!!!! It was literally going to take my maintenance company an ENTIRE month to do what took me about 2 minutes once I found the right size tool. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Like the other comment said - dude you ROCK!
I needed this, contractor never adjusted valve in my boys new shower. Saved me another day of them arguing with their sisters about sharing the girls bathroom!!!!
The exact shower I have, the only difference is in the adjustment, I don't back out the hex till it comes out, only till I can slide off the handle and I place a wash towel of towel over the drain incase I fumble the screws. Great video, well presented and clear.... thank you for posting, we now have nice hot showers and after two ruptured disk back surgeries I thank you after a long days work at UPS.
Tip: When working on any faucet etc. in a bathroom, cover and/or close all drainage in sinks, bath or shower to prevent losing screws, clips and anything else you're working on from going down the drain. This includes lights above the sinks, the securing nuts have a habit of making their way to the drains.
I just put this exact shower kit in and freaked out because I had almost no hot water pressure. I would have never figured it out without your video. Thanks!
Thanks. The instructions say to remove the ring but don't mention taking off the little screw and the shaft. That makes a huge difference. Thanks again.
This is such a great video. So easy to follow and easy to make the change. Be careful...you can make a blazing hot shower after watching this! Thank you so much.
I was at a hotel with barely any hot water looked up “how to get more hot water from shower faucet” and was not disappointed when it was the same one from the video! 1 win for me 0 for the hotel.
Just getting ready to install one and read the "directions"...yeah...first video I saw and spot on great explanation and capture of the work. THANK YOU
i did enjoy, we had to wait for our plumber for 3 days for hotter water and if i knew the valve was right there i would've done it myself. now i can thanks pops 😂
Thanks! Just bought a home and everywhere but the shower had hot water. Guess that was missed in inspection. You helped me solve my problem! Looks new hardware was installed without adjustments.
Thank you so much you saved me money plus headache. Guy who installed it for me was telling me he needs to break the tiles or cut the wall from other room.
a plumber told me I needed a mixer to get hot water to the shower but after watching your video I fixed it myself, the wife says thank you she can take a HOT shower again only turned the handle screw about one or 2 turns so it didn't fall out but had towel over drain just in case Thanks for the video
I'm deployed at the moment and my awesome wife managed to move to our new home with all FIVE of the kids after closing got pushed back. One of my to-dos when I get back is basically this, going by what she told me I figure the valve is worn or scaled up because the water cycles from full-hot to full-cold when they try to use the upstairs faucet. Love the channel by the way
Woohoo. I did it. Thank you. I thought I had to buy a new handle/cartridge. Nope! Not quite as tight as I'd like it and I'm afraid the handle will come off but we'll see. Don't think I got that tube "this portion" at around 2:14 back on quite right either. It doesn't lock into place or it's not held by anything, but hope this will work. Water is HOT! Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video I just had our bathroom remodel and put a walk in shower the water only got luke warm now it gets good and hot thanks again for this video
Thank you. Just moved into a new house and the builders had this at the lowest temp. Been trying to figure out why my shower was like warm and my sink water was scalding hot.
I found that I didn't need to remove that trim collar. It seemed to be a bit of a struggle even for you, and mine didn't want to budge. But it was easy enough to slide the O-ring off and adjust the stop with the trim collar still on. Very helpful video, thanks!
Thank you for the video. It was exactly what I needed to know! 😮Oh, the blue ring turns, not the black gear type things inside! 🧐I was trying to turn them. Thank God the sleeve didn't come off when I tried it, otherwise, I would be buying another set right now!👷🏽♀️
What if you can’t adjust it far enough? My option is turning it one way where there is absolutely no motion at all or the far end of the range where it’s just some cold water
I am going to try this, We have scolding hot water in our sink faucets throughout the house, but both our showers only get up to comfortably warm for showers, we can never take a nice steamy hot shower. And have had water heater at 100% just to get showers warm enough to use. I hope this works on our model of fixture. Ill post back. If it works, I can turn the water heater down and save $$. UPDATE, Wow, it was even easier on my model, no washer to mess with. Max water temp was 102, made a small adjustment and now 115 to 116, does not sound like much of an increase but it is, Still room to adjust more if I need to when I turn the water heater down, Thanks! Finely a shower or bath that will actually help my aching back. I have been at this place for a year now and I could have been taking hot showers rather than pretty warm showers all that time.
No most shower valve components are packed individually including the cartridge, there is no setting done at the factory, it’s up to the installer ( plumber) to use a thermometer and adjust the stop to the desired temp. All replacement shower valve cartridges in america have a scald guard max stop of 120deg .
Great i was looking for the correct adjustment on the valve and i guess i have it on the opposite side/backward lol need to change it around so stop is at the correct spot. Thanks and have good day
That was for a Delta other brands have a totally different way but still mine the idea of limiting too much hot water because you don't want to get burned
This is helpful to get the idea. Thanks for making the video! I have a different model, and I wonder to adjust the hot water, do we need to shut down the main water line downstairs before adjusting it? Thank you!
I had a hot water heater replaced last year. The old unit had 2 control panels and when they installed the new hot water heater they said 2 was not needed. They installed the control panel in the kitchen. There was 1 in the kitchen 1 in the master bath with the old unit. Do you know what could cause no hot water in the master bath now? The no hot water started probably around 2 weeks after installing the new unit. It's only the master bath every other part of the house gets hot water. It's a tankless unit. Any info is much appreciated.

This saved my life😂😭 I’m a 24 year old woman who just wanted to take hot showers at my new rental and landlord didn’t know what to do lol
Thank you for this! I’m a young girl in my first place and everything house related seemed so overwhelming at first. Following this video though I was able to figure out/fix my cold shower issue. Thank you so much!

I just fixed it and had my first truly hot shower in almost a month. Thank you again. Words can not describe the joy I'm feeling

You're welcome ✌🏻

Thank you so much!!! We just had a bathroom remodel only to find out that the shower wasn’t getting warm. You have saved the day! Thanks again!
Thank you. Single mom here and I needed to adjust this and didn’t want to pay lol!! Thanks for saving me $85

Thanks for this. You have one of the only videos of this series valve.

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ this is the best. I was taking freezing showers until I found this video
THANK YOU!!! This model was difficult to find … now hopefully no more 🥶 showers 😊
I was able to fix our newly installed showers and now we can take hot showers again! Thank you!!
Thanks. The instructions say to remove the ring but don't mention taking off the little screw and the shaft. That makes a huge difference. Thanks again.
This is such a great video. So easy to follow and easy to make the change. Be careful...you can make a blazing hot shower after watching this! Thank you so much.
I have seriously been filling my bath from the sink for a year to get a decent hot bath. You're the best man!
I was at a hotel with barely any hot water looked up “how to get more hot water from shower faucet” and was not disappointed when it was the same one from the video! 1 win for me 0 for the hotel.
Wow I thought I was going to have a huge problem in my new home ! Thank you. “We have hot water!!!!”
Me too ! I love my hot showers !!
Thank you, sir! Very much! I got it done following your easy and to the point instructions. Now my family can shower in warm water. Whoo!
Just getting ready to install one and read the "directions"...yeah...first video I saw and spot on great explanation and capture of the work. THANK YOU

I just had my first hot shower in almost a year, sir, thank you.
Thank you so much you saved me money plus headache. Guy who installed it for me was telling me he needs to break the tiles or cut the wall from other room.
What would we do without TH-cam and nice folks like you?? Thanks for the tutorial!!!
I moved into this house a year ago and always wondered why the shower doesn’t get as hot as the sinks do haha. Appreciate the help sir!
I sometimes put painters tape over the drain when dealing with small parts so I don't accidentally drop it down the drain
I was thinking put a towel or rag over the drain first. The tape will ensure it doesn’t get moved.
I just lost that little screw down the drain a minute ago 😂 time to go to the hardware store
This was very helpful. I replaced a shower and was living with people frustrated with my work.
I've been freezing for 2 years for nothing. Thanks for the video.

worked like a sharm. Once I got that initial hex screw, I felt like I was in over my head but then I saw this video. Thanks for the help!
I truly thank you so much, I have very hot water in my shower now. Very very helpful And my wife thanks you.

This was extremely helpful it only takes 2 mins! This changed my whole shower experience!!
This fix worked for me. The pieces inside were a little different for mine, but this was close enough. Thanks!
Thank you so much! Instructions were super easy to follow and I was able to ajust the temperature. Your the best!!😊
DIDO!!!
Thank you. Just moved into a new house and the builders had this at the lowest temp. Been trying to figure out why my shower was like warm and my sink water was scalding hot.
I was only getting burning water on a new install
It’s now beautiful temperature cold & hot
Thanks to this video 👍🏻 many thanks for sharing
Thank you very much. We just happened to have the same Delta shower valve. It went just the way you demonstrated.
Just did my shower after watching your video, thank you!!
Great video! Simple, to the point, gets the job done. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for uploading this. It made figuring out why I had no hot water easy.
This video was perfect and made it so easy for me to fix my cold water problem. My wife is happy with me! Yay! :)

Thanks for this! Worked perfectly and saved me a call to the plumber
Saved me so much time of troubleshooting! Thank you!
Great video! All the other Videos didn’t depict my shower cartridge but this one was on the money!
Very detailed , yet succinct . Thank you
This looks very helpful! Ours was set to max 80°f!
Thank you for the video. It was exactly what I needed to know! 😮Oh, the blue ring turns, not the black gear type things inside! 🧐I was trying to turn them. Thank God the sleeve didn't come off when I tried it, otherwise, I would be buying another set right now!👷🏽♀️
It was very good demonstration Sir 👍
Your video munch helpful compare to instructions that I read! Thank You
Wish I would have watched your video first. The other anti scald device did not look like mine. You are great!
What if you can’t adjust it far enough? My option is turning it one way where there is absolutely no motion at all or the far end of the range where it’s just some cold water
Thank you for posting. You saved me a service call. 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks!!! Scalding hot showers here I come!
you're a hero man, I didn't wanna pay for a plumber and now I don't have to
Thank you for posting this helpful video

Thanks brotha. My apartments won't fix the issue after a month on the work order. Gonna do it myself.
Thank you, I have been taking cold showers for the past 3 months we moved here.
Very informative. Why is my pressure lower now? How to correct this?
This is just what I needed and it worked perfectly for me. Thank you!
Awesome, this helped me in 2022. Thank you.
FYI you don't have to remove the set screw to get the handle off and cover the drain with a towel to prevent accidentally losing screws
Thankyou so much for this video. My wife and in laws thank you as well!
Thanks for the video. My hot and cold are reversed with this same valve. Can I just pull out the cartridge and flip it to correct it?
Great i was looking for the correct adjustment on the valve and i guess i have it on the opposite side/backward lol need to change it around so stop is at the correct spot. Thanks and have good day
Thank you and God bless you I break my hand why it doesn't work thanks to you I got a hot water God bless you
OMG Thank you! after months with cold water this video saved me!
Awesome dude! Thanks for the piece of knowledge!!
Thanks! My new bathroom shower is luke warm at most. Now to get some hot water!
What is the part before the o-ring? That one held in by a screw. Mine to stuck on, probably cause of calcium build up. How do I get it off?
Same here
Very helpful video. Thank you.
Good stuff bro, was a big help. God bless you! 💯
Thanks for the video, it was very easy to follow and worked!
This was very helpful, thank you!
