The plane we got off of was held back for an hour so that security could be allowed on the plane to look for the passport (mainly us trying to convince security not to let the plane take off, and security searching all the seats/aisles)
The reason the turtle seemed to fall out of the sky is simple: eagles can snack on turtle's and how they do this is they pick it up with their talons and fly to a much higher altitude looking for a hard and flat surface (usually roads) to drop the turtle from and crack the shell, unfortunately this means theres a chance there can be a car driving down the road and can end up with a pretty well dented roof or windshield. the same thing happened to my grandpa as he was driving home one day.
I work at a coffee factory and er had to separate a whole roaster full once when someone accidently put some fresh green in before getting the completed roast out into the cooling tray. yeah, that was about 6-8 barrels of coffee to sort by hand, in a hot factory in mid July. And yes, we all wore gloves because we do care about our customers and making sure our food is safe.

Hey for anyone who thinks they have bad luck maybe this will make you feel a little better I’ve lost three dogs to random insane health issues. The first died of lymphoma. The second wasn’t right in the head and I later found he was likely the result of incest. Tried to give him a good life but he was too aggressive and dangerous(it was my parents choice to put him down, I would have let him live longer) third died of osteosarcoma which developed from nothing to a beach ball on his ribs in the span of a week. Now my current dog is staying overnight at the vets while they try to figure out what’s going on with his spine because some kind of inflammation is putting pressure on it. I’m just praying that I don’t lose him too. I love him more than anything and I can’t cope with another loss Edit: just an hour after I commented this I got a call. His heart gave out and he’s gone.
