I absolutely love this video and the river! The sound of the river and the ripples make me want to find one around here. Eventually when it gets cooler in fall I hope to do just that. Thanks for you both braving the slippery water on those rocks. It was a bit scary to watch you walking through the water, but you both did it 😊😊😊 Do you tell someone where you are going? If not make a plan so someone knows where you are. At our age we have to do those things! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
I do remember your previous river trip but this one revealed how precarious that bank really is. Common sense told me no harm befell you as you were relating your outing, but a couple of times my heart was in my mouth. But it was definitely worth it for that amber coloured bottle alone. Loved your brick too Phil, and it shows the power of water running over something for long enough. I wonder how long it took to sculpt that? Yes the river is its own treasure and if you found nothing all day, it would still be worth the trip. And a bonus to see froggy swimming off like an Olympian. A lovely lark! Thanks for taking us along.
That " swirly whirly " as you called it ( right after the frog ) would have made a nice humming bird feeder holder ! Hang 1 end on a limb & the feeder on the other end !
Oh what a beautiful river lark 🥰 I'm not sure Caroline but there may have been a pipe stem further to your right, when you picked up the second stick/twig?, it was about an inch long, but I'm just guessing. Oh and just as you picked up that bottle I was shouting it's a Cattell bottle, it's a Cattell bottle, woohoo 😁. I guessed 4 pieces right in plain or patterned (I usually get most wrong lol) thank you both so much & Manky too for taking us along with you on this beautiful river adventure 🥰🥰🥰 and go froggy 🐸 too cute 😊
Thanks for sharing your river lark. Loved the pebble splash experiment, haha.

It's wonderful to see you two. Where I'm at it's too hot to be outside. 97 fahrenheit, or 36 celsius.

You need a machete to cut the foliage so you can see, just a thought
That’s what I was thinking. A machete would really get rid of that knot weed.
