Another goodie as usual! Let’s get this Route 66 trip going! I’ve only been able to see one small section, but really want to get cruising.

Regarding the editing comment, I say why not edit? I started out with film way back in the early 90's and stuck with it until around 2012 when I went digital. I have recently got back into shooting a bit of film alongside my digital hobby. What I love about shooting film now is that it makes me more careful (like the old days), but the modern method of getting the photos developed (scans rather than little 6x4 prints) is fantastic I think. I love being able to pull out details and look at the images on a large monitor and even print with my own little tweaks. It's way better than the old days of film for those of us who shot colour and had no way to developing them ourselves. I get high res TIFF scans always so I can edit with no loss of quality. I love shooting film alongside digital as each have their own advantages to me. Editing both seems logical to me.

@@sarahneedham I’m with you on this one!! The lab I use actually leaves the scans very flat so the photographer has the creative control in a way they come back like RAW files in digital. I’ll always edit because then I end up with an image with my personal style!

@@blakeinnesfilmphotography yeah my lab here in the UK is very similar and I too look at the scans in the same way I do my RAW files. Love your channel by the way and I hope it grows!
