Hi guys!!! First one here I guess. Watching Kyle's melt down over putting the little tortoises together was pretty hilarious. "And it died." made me LOL.
While the crocodilians and alligators are often more actively entertaining, this is what I have been waiting for. This state-of-the-art tortoise house is absolutely gratifying to see finally get its long awaited inhabitants. Breeding these highly threatened species and beautiful morphs is a gift to the natural world. Sadly, this is where these creatures will find salvation, in captivity as their habitats disappear. Very rarely is someone so dedicated to create such a monstrously expensive habitat that houses tortoises in an way that suits the animals, and enhances their lives, and is as safe as it can be built. Kyle, you are a legend! side note;are Gharials absolutely unattainable? You might be able to help save the species.

I feel your OCD pain Kyle about not changing gloves and putting them all together...you can never be to careful about cross contamination and exposing them to possible sickness. It is real, so many ppl don't even think about such things. The new place looks really good.

Is biosecurity different in reptiles than it is in other animals I know with my chickens my rabbits and my dog's if you're in the same room there goes biosecurity because they're breathing the same air
Does the anxiety w/biosecurity come from a bad experience or just OCD and always worrying? I know my strict quarantine with new fish and plants comes from a bad experience losing some of favorite fish and alot of money!!!
I stumbled across this vid, why was he getting all rain man about mixing different enclosures of same tortoises? Were they just being quarantined or something?
