- Come join me as I make my first visit to the historic city of Varanasi, India. With just a few hours to spare, I was under pressure to make most of this visually intense place. Expect some point of view street photography along with some tips and ideas from my perspective. Thanks for watching!

Wow!!! Amazing video, well put together. Loved the photos and philosophy, very similar to mine as well as style. I am just prepping, and will be in Varanasi in two weeks, so I am getting excited. Thank you so much for sharing. I loved it all. Subscribed. Cheers!!!!
Thanks so much Michael. I'm sure you'll have a fulfilling trip and may you come back with good pictures to your hearts content :)
Keep up the good work sir ! Loved the shot of the photographers taking pictures, hahaha.
There were actually at least 5 more there so had to scoot off hehe. Thank you for the appreciation :)
@@abhishek.scariya It has always been a scary thing for me to invade the personal space or taking pictures without consent. I saw this documentary on Vivian Meir who took stunning street photographs, idk how she managed to do it without consent.
@@kalpeshboiser Yes it's surely a daunting challenge and one that is renewed each time we take the camera out on the street. But more than anything else, I have found that a the right mindset and motivation is the best way to tackle this and of course to be filled with empathy for what we are doing and the space we are in.
I loved your photography but what I like even better is your mindset behind taking your images. We are visiting India at the end of the year and Varanassi is one of my most important destinations. We are from New Zealand and everthing will completely different from our experences and we a really excited to be going there. Thanks for sharing yur work.
Thanks much for your appreciation Gavin. My best wishes for your trip. May you have a safe, enjoyable and creatively engaging time in India :) blessings.
@@abhishek.scariya Thanks

Thanks brother 😊🙏🏼
Loved some of those Black and Whites.
Thank you Raghav 🙏🏼
I really enjoy your approach to photography and the great light and shadow in many of your images.
Thank you friend :)
A++ work. Love the images and the walk. Brilliantly done.
That’s very kind of you Jimi 🙏🏼 Thanks much! Varanasi has so much visuals to take in and it’s difficult not to come back with decent photos :)
just enlightened with your mindset on streets , will look forward for many tips & images Abhishek
Thank you so much Yagnesh!
super
Well done and love the shots!
Thank you :)
Was there any particular reaction from the people , did they offend you while making photographs ????
Most people don’t get offended if they understand that you are not having a nefarious motive :) but I have noticed that in western and largely developed countries, people are more skeptical of street photography.
I like what you do, unfortunately you talk too much
Thank you for the feedback Gerard. Hope the non-talking part helped you :)
