Just curious, but why does it seem like so many albums are promoted on your channel, but also individual songs? I tend to trust the individual songs as specific curation, rather than full albums, because my time is limited and want to spend it only on the best. For example, if you don't post every single song from an album, I assume that you aren't promoting them. But when I compare the tracks you manually upload versus the tracks in the album, and see that you missed uploading two songs individually that are included on the album, I wonder why you didn't upload them in the first place. Could you explain?
Hello my friend. I upload both songs & albums because there's demand for both. there's always a chance that someone will prefer a specific single song or a few songs upon the whole album. someone also can like a song & wish to add it to a playlist for example, or as you said, you yourself prefer the songs. in the other hand MANY like to listen to the whole album & you can see that on the views count. I didn't missed those 2 songs. they were already released before the album came out & I've uploaded them in their release day & they appear in the playlist that I made for this album. it will be useless to re-upload them again. that's something that the labels will do but for me there's not a point in that. there are other cases that I upload just a few songs from an album, it can be if I didn't liked them & if I was thinking that the creators are not known enough. but, if they are not known & I was thinking that it's a good track, I *will* upload it.
Just a thought, back in the day I have seen some unreleased/edit tracks that ended up diferent on their final album version, not saying that this is the case but it might be worth to keep an eye to make sure you are not missing a diferent version of the music you upload. it makes no diference to me, i always listen the entire stuff!
