The issue is that they’re listening to most critiques of their game whether good or bad. Some are valid like the previous combat changes, but things like these visuals are pretty unnecessary.

9:44 I'm pretty sure that for this comment the person probably meant a progression system similar to deepwoken, as in there are bandits that spawn randomly and you can just go around killing them and there's other mobs that you kill for progression which is more different to blox fruits since you don't stay in one specific location and farm specific mobs that spawn at the exact same place all the time and you're actually incentivized to explore and find new mobs to kill as you progress.
Yeah thats what I meant. When I said like block fruits I meant the progression and not the style of grinding. When I said no quests I meant quests like in Blox fruits and I would love fun quests. Sorry if I made it too unclear.

Cool take: Progression should be like a whole adventure system, for example, if you want to take over Alabasta like the anime, you could probably go to the island, meetup with an npc to get a disquise, sneak around the island, explore and look for clues on how to get to the leader, fight some grunts, take on each member of the baroque works one by one, and finally the boss. That would feel really cool and like a real game, i feel as if this would be extremely fun and a nice adventure

cool idea but making this as the main or only way of progression doesnt match the games standards as the game's main point is to make a non linear type of progression or like progress in more than one way. this will only work if its made as a side quest itll make the make way more interesting and adventurous.
There are a ton of games like this and children never really get into them and the only reason rell seas will have these kids playing is because it’s been hyped on a popular platform.

The button layout is beautiful. They really blessing mobile gamers w this. But idk why there are two joystick's tho. As for the parkour i do wish that they kinda added some effects that will kinda give of the illusion speed you know. Like maybe the camera slightly zooming in and out during the parkour movement.
0:50 a great example is Ultrakill. Good graphics/visuals doesnt mean good game. Same way as how bad visuals=/bad game

visuals are very important in games and take away from the feel of the game if they are horrendous, it's definetly important to atlest have good/decent ones.

moves that make a sort of crater in the ground like some of gravitys moves should really make small craters in the ground so the fruit looks like it packed more of an impact

i think the reason they wanted in depth underwater exploration on release was to balance devil fruits in a way, making it harder to explore underwater with a fruit, making another reason no to eat one.
I feel like for the weapons should have a move that doesn’t have anything to do with the fruit for example: if you have Bisento it will have 4 moves 2 being regular moves like a slash attack or a ground smash move without quake effect and the other 2 will but to use the other 2 with quake effect you gotta have the quake fruit equipped.
before rell seas come out Gta 6 will come out

Maybe what fruit you have will give the weapon some attacks, that'd be cool. Like say I have a pistol, if I have light then I can shoot bullets that zig zag where my cursor goes. If I have a katana and magu then my katana will be able to form a lava ball at it's tip.
I feel like for the meteors they could let you aim around 3 of them to where you want while the rest are just randomly falling in the surrounding area it was activated in

my hot take about grinding/getting stronger is by:
1. fighting wild life, people, cut wood,fishing,mining stone iron etc. to craft better items like minecraft or something
2. get xp by wood cutting, in fight by-(pary gives more xp than normal block, atacking gives some xp and is increased by combo etc) fishing, mining, cooking so other roles can get stronger too
3. getting pretty big amount of xp by checking new locations like island u never was on or something like caves etc
4. items could be crafted or found in chests that could also give some xp materials for crafting and maps for some other places or hidden chests with higer rarity
Hot take: the game should be completely like blox fruits with the same islands and npcs but with the rell seas fruits.

I think it would be cool for the game to have a peroxide type progression like you only get stats in the things you use the most (If you use fruit a lot then the points are going to appear in fruit and not in combat for example)

tbh for the gravity rework there are some moves that i like more than the older rework and some i dont like like push and pull i can see the graphical improvement but i feel like i preferred the older push and pull cause it wasnt as flashy
my hot take is that we need different variations when transforming into the kaido dragon and stuff they did that in the start of shinobi life when it came to editing the susanos and it just feels so much better like having your characters traits into the transformation or something you know
Actually they are doing that, g4 was shown to have that and I think goro transformation might as well, with some other zoans like wolf and leopard
ngl new gravity looks way cleaner and fits how the map and graphics look
I hope fruits are not gonna be just skills and have abilities and can be used for other stuff other than fighting like gravity would make objects float or gravitate towards yourself and pika being able to light up dark places
My thing with graphics is I’m very into animation and art and things like that so when a game looks good I want to play it more and I enjoy it more but if there’s bad gameplay the look of the game can’t save it. Another thing I want to bring up is I hope the gravity is better then blox fruits gravity
Had no idea about the game having underwater exploration, I hope it'll be like Arcane Odyssey and have them randomly generated around the map, that way you'll have to actually LOOK for them instead of going back to their set location after like an hour when the treasure respawns.

Hot take: About the previous hot take you mentioned in your video the Rell Brothers should add variety to the weapons. For example if you have bicento and flame the bicento moves are now flamed themed. So if you have a supported fruit and a weapon the weapons moveset surrounds the fruit if you know what I mean. But the parameters are that some weapons cant pair with some fruits. If you fet what I mean

sometimes i think almost going over board on visuals makes the gameplay worse bc u cant see anything or they get outta hand with aoe. like look at deepwoken its not over complicated visuals yet its the best combat on roblox. (also overcomplicated makes the pvp ass bc u never know when to parry bc your whole screen is lighting up)

Game looks really cool, hopefully the quest system is better than the ones that are often used nowadays. I personally think making trees destructible would be really good for the game, not only it would look good and improve clarity during intense combat but would also increase the perceived strength of the moves that destroyed them, it should also be pretty simple to implement, and they could even include options to hide trees and their physics for lower-end devices.
About the weapons, I personally think the more interesting approach would be to create different movesets for weapons while having the fruit or not. This wouldn't apply to every weapon but for iconic weapons this would be really fun, and would allow the devs to create a good moveset for the people who want to use the weapon by itself while also fulfilling the "white-beard" fantasy while having the gura fruit.
Some would argue that this would be unfair for non-fruit users but the fantasy these people want to fulfill is very different to the "white-beard" one, since people who want to explore the fruitless aspect of the game would go after characters such as Zoro, Shanks or Gol D Roger and would be much more interested in interacting with the haki system and training even further in their respective weapons.

honestly not aiming the meteor shower is way better because now youre not movement locked while trying to aim meteors that take a couple seconds to land. now you just have a little bit of charge up and a huge hitbox while being able to use other moves
