Thoughtful conversation! It is not so unfathomable to not have a child. I am an academic in life sciences. I live abroad, but I am in touch with the Indian community. I see women my age or younger opting to not have a child (including me), not have a relationship, and not date. I see men following women - not just at workplace, but also at a personal front (men following their wives if she gets a better career opportunity). I being one among those women have faced the brutal judgement from the society, but I have learned to compartmentalize and ignore. My work speaks for me in the long run. This gives me hope.

yes naari shakti - talk about it, spread the word, support it from the depth of your heart (keeping in mind that our mothers and sisters should be empowered, not made to make roti and bacche only)
A couple of thoughts: For more and more women to join the workforce, i think it's women who should, or could, take the initiative. It's not that there aren't enough sensitive and sensible men out there, but it's more because with the right type of a female boss, women employees will blossom. I was fortunate enough to have a great boss who is a woman, though her boss was just the opposite. Then again, a close relative didn't like hiring women because "they'd either get married or get pregnant"! As for watching movies in theatres, I wish it was affordable, as in the yesteryears. I've stopped watching movies in theatres as i can't afford it, although there was a time when I'd treat myself to watching a new release on a Saturday morning show at a multiplex.
While I am hearing this conversation and agreeing/nodding to most of the things that Is being discussed, I want to probably say that it's not required for partners to bring in 50-50 all the time. If this is being said in a cumulative or a sum total, then maybe yes. Some days partners don't bring 50-50 to the table and that is okay, that's where the other partner shows up to balance the rest
She is such a trailblazer!!! Faye & Richa, I can just keep on listening to you both!
She’s an amazing actor and very eloquent but also a criminally underrated dancer.
Beautiful conversation. Listening to Richa is always inspiring and insightful. It's just great to see two strong n intelligent ppl talk💛

So true what Richa said, if you are vocal and outspoken, people have a problem.
If you are quite, they don't care about you.

I thought they were saying it in a cumulative sense. Which is why she also talk about supporting each other through tough times.
Time stamps would be great to have.
First hehe
Pretty women always have it way easier and should never talk about struggles
Lol they are subjected to the worst harassment
