Holy shit, y'all. This is incredible. I went to UC Santa Barbara for college and lived through the shooting in May 2014 (The Isla Vista tragedy). I knew two of the victims personally. It was a time fraught with grief and deep emotional processing, to say the least. It is during the aftermath of that tragedy that I truly fell in love with A Cappella music - it was the only thing that made me feel better. This piece not only sounds amazing, but managed to resonate with me on a deep level and give me some small amount of emotional closure for the friends I lost years ago. Thank you
