And that's what he got. 250 with a 😊 and thanks for the work. On to the next job. I wonder is that the base material they still use. Great video. Now a new one
Chuck, that fabric is usually available from contractors' supply businesses. Maybe even some well equipped rental stores who rent earth moving equipment too.
HD Fowler woven comes in 12 and 17.5 ft rolls at 300 to 400 ft i do believe. When you buy it and have a backhoe what i do is put a steel pipe through it and roll it right out onto the ground.
Hey Andy, Maybe I missed it but could you do a movie about what you paid for your equipment? And possibly a run down where to get the cheapest ones at? thanks
Nice job. Makes for a rather un-invasive road. Could have saved a lot of time and wear on the machine if you'd tailgate spread it though?Wonder what kind of stone that is? Looks like flat sheets.
Andrew Camarata blue shale was on our mile long drive in SilverHollow. I remember seeing fossil imprints in some of the larger pieces..good stuff and plentiful down there.
Andrew, Its cool that you can still watch your old videos....
always the right music to sync the whole package ,well done!

Good job !
nice job...........thanks 4 video. be kind.
Andrew, What's the tile of that music background?
I need about the same amount done on my property. What's a good price to pay for that service?
Looks good, what was that underlayment? Looks like a tarp almost?
That's called road fabric, it' similar material to tarp. It keeps the stone from sinking into the mud.
worked with this stuff quite abit when labouring in Alberta and driving rock truck
Is this the property that you built the bridge on??
what's the flaky stone?
It looks like weathered shale. Exposed, or near surface, beds of sedimentary rock like this are degraded through a period of time - called weathering.
Woodstock NY! Close to our side of the mountain in SilverHollow....ever done any work out that way? Check out my old pictures on my Facebook page!
What ! No 'lab inspection' ?
One fast video. Ta!
Where can I get that road fabric?

Its shale. That stuff wouldn't tailgate.
I agree from what I remember sometimes tailgate sucks you better do heaps .
You have watched this video.
DUDE THATS NOT SHALE IS IT, IT DISSOLVES QUICK
It is blue shale, red shale turns into mud quick but still remains a hard surface, blue shale breaks up into nice gravel.

It seems like thick stale ?
@@nonokastle8699 I THINK THEY CALLED IT BLUE STONE IN EARLIER VIDEOS, NOT POSITIVE
😁😁😁 The owner only paid for up to 250' .
Only had him do 250 feet, he found someone cheaper.
That was a flag lot, we put that driveway in to help it sell. I thin it sold, I think the new owner was going to build.
