I have part watched your tutorial, Jan and will watch the remainder later. What I've seen up to now is amazing. Thank you for sharing your many talents and for helping me with this box x x x
Watched the rest of your tutorial. The box is beautiful, exactly what I'm looking for. You truly are a very inspirational lady and I'm so grateful. Thanks for sharing, Jan x x x
Hi Jan, What a clever design, first time ever seeing a rosette such as this used in crafting or card making. Cute as it can be. All your designs are so well done. Your way of doing each of your videos are so easy to follow along and to understand. A lot of the designers rush through there instructions so fast I can't understand and become so confused, but yours are so well done, and I appreciate the time you spend with us. You make them look so easy. Have a blessed day, and thanks for a great idea. Your friend from Florida, Wanda
Such a beautiful box! I can't wait to make one! I love all the pretty boxes and containers that you show us, they are some of my favorite things to make.
Me encantan tus trabajos. Eres una gran artista y una maravillosa profesora. Y es un enorme detalle que des las medidas también en cms. Muchas gracias por todo! Un abrazo desde España.
Jan, the box is stunning. I enjoyed the video, as I do all of your projects. I have a suggestion: when making the rosette, why not squeeze the rosette "petals" into a circle and put the card stock circle with glue ON TOP so you can see exactly where it is. You can then hold the circle in place for several seconds until the glue cools. I'm going to give it a try!
Hi, Katrina. I made a video fairly recently that'll take what we call A6 cards and you A2 cards. This is the link: th-cam.com/video/A7hyF9UrYII/w-d-xo.html Enjoy! ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
so i have tried to do this box twice, using the measurements given in the video. the lid does not fit the box, no way. can you double check f the given sizes are correct please? try to make one with the measurements yourself and you will see they dont fit
I tried to create it in inches. the given measurements are 8 1/4" x 7 1/4" at 2:09 min. into the video. This box with these measurements does not fit the lid. i amended my measurements in a bit to make it work and came to the conclusion that he box is slightly too large for the lid ,and using 8 1/8" x 7 1/8" is a perfect fit.
Hi, Crafty JoJo. The measurement for the box base, as given, is too big to fit the measurements given for the box lid. You need to cut off approximately a fraction as shown at 3:10 onwards on the video. I think it sounds as if you missed out this step. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
Those boxes are stunning.
Классно👏👏👏 СПАСИБО!!! Как замечательно подобраны цвета!!! КАК ВЕЛИКОЛЕПНО!!!!

What a beautiful box Jan! The "thing" you made for the top is called a rosette. 😊
Of course! Thanks, Natalie R. I had a total blank on what it's called! LOL! ☺ Happy crafting. JanB.
Liked the tip for doing the medallion. : )

That's an idea, Leanne but I think you'd still need an extra pair of hands. I'd love to know how you get on with this method. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
Beautiful, wish it was large enough to put A-2 cards.

Are you trying the inches or centimetre measurements, and in which way do you believe the measurements are wrong?
