But must admit that kuzatora is cold-blooded. He doesn't know who that is which means his hit means to kill anyone. If that's not mikey's brother, he would be fine with that too. He coulda at least swing at another less fatal point like belly or legs !!!

Because Shinichiro wasn't phisically strong as Mikey. That's why Mikey compares takemichi to his brother, because they always stood up even though they were phisically weak. Mikey's very strong that's why he didn't go out that easily.

For all those who don’t know… Kazutora ACTUALLY didn’t kill shin. It was the original time leaper’s curse that controlled kazutora to killing shin. If you don’t know what the curse is, it was something also known as “Dark Impulses” from Mikey. It was never a mental illness to him. Because shin killed the original time leaper in order to get his powers, it created a curse between shin. Meaning that everything he holds dear will be destructed. So that’s why u can see how he died was almost identical of how he killed the original time leaper. But after shin’s death, the curse wasn’t done. Instead it took control on Mikey for decades, so when Mikey feels empty or rages, the curse comes out and controls him, causing him to become a empty,cold,catatonic self destructive person. But since takemichi has the powers now. He is the only person to stop the time leaper’s curse. I feel so bad for Both Mikey, Shin and kazu😢

Mikey's toy plane broke(the dumbest thing), Shinichiro died, baji died, emma died, Draken died,, these were all the things that lead to mikey's dark impulses, although he got his dark impulses to the time his toy plane broke, but the fact he is gone completely evil because of everyone's death.

Mikey lost everything, his dad died at the age of 3, his mom died at the age of 10 and sometime after Shin died. To be fair I’m sure Mikey is just destined to be this way, throughout the story sure he becomes somewhat more compassionate and separates himself so he doesn’t hurt anymore of his “family” but Mikey was always just driven to be on the top. With or without dark impulses I’m sure he would’ve still gone down this path.

The cause for his dark impluses is actually the curse of the old man for Shinichiro killing him. So yeah it kind of is Mikey's destiny.

Also, if Takemichi were to go back a little further, he may have been able to befriend and save Shin so all the clusterfuck that happened, also known as the manga, would never even happen. Shin's death is both a major and a painful catalyst for all the events that transpired.

Because Kaztora was already very traumatized due to domestic abuse he faced. So when he killed Shinichiro he went completely insane because he couldn't believe he had killed Mikey's brother (wich also considering how strong Mikey is, he was terrified of how he would react) so in order to protect himself he mentally tried to convince himself that it wasn't his fault.
