Grand Hyatt Singapore 2024

I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt Singapore, marking my first visit since its extensive two-year renovation. The experience was a blend of modern luxury and classic hospitality, making for a memorable stay.
Check-in Experience
The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff were exceptionally courteous, welcoming me warmly and addressing all my queries with professionalism and a smile. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction were evident from the moment I arrived.
Room and Amenities
I stayed on the 11th floor, where the newly renovated rooms reflect a blend of contemporary design and comfort. The room was impeccably clean, showcasing meticulous housekeeping standards. The bed, however, was on the firmer side, which might not suit everyone's preference but worked well for me. The bathroom amenities were a pleasant surprise, featuring luxurious Balmain products that added a touch of elegance to the stay.
Technology and Connectivity
The hotel has made significant technological upgrades. The rooms are now equipped with USB-C ports and wireless charging stations, catering to modern travelers' needs. However, the internet speed was just average, which was a bit of a letdown given the overall high standards of the hotel.
Dining Options
One of the highlights of my stay was dining at the famous Straits Kitchen, which is finally open. The restaurant offers an incredible selection of local and international cuisine, making it a must-visit for food enthusiasts. Unfortunately, the restaurant on level 2 is still under renovation, but I am looking forward to its reopening on my next visit.
Recreational Facilities
The outdoor swimming pool is open and caters well to families with children. It’s a kid-friendly space, perfect for a relaxing day with the family. The pool area is well-maintained and provides a refreshing retreat from the bustling city. (Check out the video for a glimpse of the pool area.)
Parking and Additional Information
A pleasant surprise was the availability of free parking. However, you do need to ask for it, as it is not widely advertised. This added convenience is definitely a plus for those driving to the hotel.
Overall Experience
My expectations were initially low, but the Grand Hyatt Singapore turned out to be very good. Despite parts of the hotel still being under renovation, my stay was delightful. The blend of comfort, convenience, and courteous service makes it a top choice for both business and leisure travelers. I look forward to returning and experiencing more of what this rejuvenated hotel has to offer.
