I think a dual effect for her weather mechanic is warranted. Buffs allies, debuffs enemies at the same time. And a range increase on it so it covers a wide berth. Her threat will come from simply existing in an area. All who walk into that space are affected by the climate.
@Dedicatedguidesguyfan Wind mode only slows down enemies. From memory, I believe wind mode gives Storm 30-40% movement spd and allies 15-20% while giving the enemy a speed debuff. That's why this guy uses wind when getting to the point from spawn.
Been playing Storm since day one. I tend to focus on peeling for the strats more than pushing, once any flanker comes diving in I'll pop the boosted attack to get the AoE thunderstorm. It'll cover myself and the strategist as we get rid of them by time they come back I'll have my boost again to repeat. I'll only get aggressive with the Ult.

Why should Storm fans lower their expectations of what the devs can really do when they embrace the full fantasy of a character. Why should Storm players be relegated to being a passive buff area that just exists there. We should all expect more. Would anyone deny that Spiderman FEELS like Spiderman? Why shouldn't it be the same for Storm. UNCHAIN STORM from being an aura bot!
When people pick DPS, lots of them don't plan to stick around, then when the dps get wiped fighting ahead of the convoy, the team will fall apart and lose objective immediately. We have picks like Psylocke, Black Panther, etc... coming in to bully healer, Storm is built to stick around to stop that and also be a backup plan to defend convoy and site. Her AOE gives everyone an edge to win fights against even the deadliest Duelists trying to disrupt your team comp. Therefore, when u try to use her like Ironman, or Hela, it aint gonna go well and I'm pretty sure thats y most folks don't vibe with her.

I want to love Storm because (not only because she's rocking a whole bakery ) but it takes too much work for her to close down for kills. I could care less about being Highest DPS on the team since most of my gameplay is being a Tank or healer, from my days on Overwatch, and I think it says a lot with Marvel Rivals in comparison to OW when you as a healer can be rewarded with MVP by simply stacking up assist and great healing! We are still in the early days of this game and there are gonna be Storm mains who cook like Trik shows here but her low pickrate and misuse will continue if it takes 6 or more hits to kill other just as squishy DPS.
@TrikSlyr Always have a clone ready to escape, engage or place healing circle on team. The circles can block a ton of ults, won me probably 25 games so far. You heal yourself while invis and also drop a clone when pressing it. Primary fire does splash heals / dmg so aim in general area. His backstab sucks and not worth going for. You get stuck as the character you copied for a little while in ult, so account for that if you pick offensive ults and need a lot of healing output right after ulting.

She's very fun but a sitting duck for attacks. I can forgive her strength because of how much she supports her team, she just badly needs to move faster
Congrats on getting diamond, is just a bit sad that no matter the elo every now and then, you will get a smartass saying "she is the worst character in the game" or something along the lines of "she is useless/NEEDS buffs to be useful". Her % win rate is not bad at all but the game gives no feedback for how much value you are getting from the % damage buff on your allies, which is an important element she brings to the table.
She really needs a movement speed buff. Especially when ascending and descending. Great stuff though man nice to see some good Storm gameplay.
Storm's DPS falling from 100/s at 15 meters to 50/s at 30 meters is so painful to watch.
Seeing it double or triple because people group on the point for multiple hits is just as rewarding tho.
Storm mains would probably be happier if it could track how much she boosts her allies and apply it to her overall damage score.

It does. People just have 0 idea how storm works and just talks out there ass cuz they had a bad game on her.

I think people are just using hela and Hawkeye damage as a crutch. Storm excels when playing with the team and that feels awesome

Storm is weird she has the ability to fly but her skills are for close range
