I like playing with Survival mode, but you need to turn it off temporarily during the main quest at the throat of the world. During the Elder Scroll-induced vision of the past, you will still take cold damage, and you will die as soon as the cutscenes ends.

I ain’t never played skyrim I’ve always been a Fallout fan but my friends told me about it and when the anniversary edition came out I got it on discount so for its the best most immersive game I’ve played since red dead redemption 2

Nice, I like to use mods and using a mod for wands would be really cool I think, but currently my staff is a 357 or 44 magnum because my sorcery is gunslinging if not melee for unarmed brawling
I'm currently playing the game on Survival Mode. It's a very different experience and I have to say I quite enjoy it.

I like how you can forge the new armours after you find them, great rp opportunities

Played Skyrim back in high school on a good old Xbox.. decided to grab the game and anniversary edition for $20 on pc.. I’m happy I did, I’m looking forward to the next couple months after work exploring it all again!
Can't wait to try survival mode and attempt to do mages guild in one sitting

@@khajiitimanus7432 thank God for fire salts and soups, the best hot soup is the hot crab soup, some of the effects are lost when making hot soup but the crab soup keeps its 1 extra health regen and 2 stamina regen

SSE would have been a better stab. But even SSE doesnt look as good as base AE. You also need Ineed, Frostfall, Campire, Snow on Armors, just to do the same as Survival mode. Stop hating bethesda and enjoy that they care to give people more content. Skyrim Oldrin is 32 bit, SSE is 64, Skyrim VR, switch, and now AE are all great ways to play skyrim. How many other games get those releases?

Honestly Skyrim is so good i don't care if they fuck up 6. I still have 5 that i grew up with and that i will forever play.
I've got much more of a reason to play this game again
After aroud 3k hours of skyrim, the only thing made me replay the game those last month was skyrimvr, with mods like vrik, higgs, plank, be seated, enb and more, it's a new way to rediscover the game
I think it was a success there's so much new things to do and the builds you can do are endless with the armor's and spells plus all the house's that fit different play styles
I'm a mage main so myrwatch is always my go to.

@@Blacklion1883 yeah it's called rayeks end it's located just outside of Riverwood in a cave by the river heading to whiterun it's kind of dark gloomy you can use it for a necromancer or mage hunter it has a lot of possibilities

I will say if young kids today haven't it's still a game worthing playing if you haven't annnnd if its been forever like 6 or so years forever its basically a new game with familiar stories and faces but lets you explore new stuff and old in new ways

I am currently playing survival on a spellknight Breton illusionist. I enjoy every aspect of it, except for the inability to fast travel without dragons.

After overlooking Skyrim for years and the. playing a few somewhat similar games I finally bought the anniversary edition for switch so I could play handheld. I genuinely don’t think I’d play it if I had to sit at my PC or even if I had to only play on PS5. I think I can get into after work if I can relax and play in handheld mode in bed. How does it run on switch? Anything I should know?
I got the special edition but o also got the note for the hearth fire quest soooo I’m confused

Yeah anniversary edition got so much hate cause Bethesda re released this for the millionth time, and some of these add ons aren't worth the money. But at the same time, the added content is rather nice. Plus, I'd highly recommend getting it on sale. I got Anniversary Edition on my new profile on sale for $20 which I would say is a reasonable price for the base game's quality, DLCs, better graphics and added content. I don't know for sure how often it goes on sale, but I see on Microsoft Store it goes on sale with Fallout 4 and it's GOTY edition most of the time, and I've seen that on sale quite a bit from November to Spring. I'd say it's full price definitely isn't worth it for a re released game that we can get mods for free on, but I'd say $20 or so is definitely worth it for the game, along with it's upgrade

I have standar edition I will buy universal edition but it says I have to buy deluxe edition in order to buy universally edition, my question is if my progress will not count in the new edition?
Tbh I don’t have any use for these mods/ creator packages since I prefer vanilla Skyrim and I kind of regret getting AE instead of SE especially because there was a SE + Oblivion + Morrowind bundle on steam when I bought it for a cheaper price than just the AE

I downloaded the anniversary edition, it apparently was free if you owned special edition. I have fishing and survival mode, and rare curios, and something else, but where's all this other stuff? I don't have crossbows or alternative armors, or any of the new houses.

Does anyone run into this pro you own the AE version but your system thinks it’s the SE version I only have campin fishin and some armors the campin and fishing I got from AE version but the other stuff I got was either free or just enough where I could buy them with the Skyrim Helix Credits

They are far to easy to get. Of you go to the inn in windhelm and read the book on the counter you can get a stronger version of dragon scale at lv 1

@@BlizzTrekkz I played Skyrim a few months after it’s release on the 360 as so as oblivion & morrowind I understand ya perspective buh I can’t fully sympathize wit it bc to me it doesn’t add anything major or anything that mods couldn’t add since like 2012 even it’s survival mode is akin to many mods. The creation club is it’s own thing. However
If you’re playing the base game then yes it’ll be valid buh for people who got so many hours into the game it’ll be like a short but cool journey. If you don’t play with mods at all then it’s major for you.

I love Skyrim, but not its Anniversary Edition. It’s the reason why mods broke two or three years ago. Mods should be fixed by now. My load order is in good shape and it works good so far. I’m an Xbox One player with only 42 mods installed so it’s all good! I only have the 4 AE DLCs just so the game functions properly. Other than that, in my opinion, I don’t care for Anniversary Edition, in fact, I don’t think I liked it tbh except for maybe Survival Mode. No matter what though, I’ll always love Skyrim. The game is really good, but its Anniversary Edition is crap. That’s a big difference right there!
Never really got into skrim. Started with fallout 4 then onto 76. My girlfriend is such a huge skryim fan that her gamertag is skyrim related.
Because of her I decided to give it a try. I'm on the ps5. I get high and play skyrim on survival with legendary difficulty. I can't kill fucking shit, but thanks to mods, I'm surviving 😂 I told her im actually having fun playing video games again.

Bro it's only 17.99 and it pretty much makes it a brand new game you get spells, tons of new quests, new factions, houses etc....
Backpacks are one of my favorite items that you can find early game. I always try to spawn the 3 Revelers to get their Charmed Necklace by giving them Honeybrew Mead. That way I now have 100 extra carry weight for 400 total carry weight. If I wanted to I could then get the Steed Stone for an additional 100 carry weight for a total of 500 carry weight.
Best expierences were oblivion and morrowind. You could do and be whatever you wanted. In skyrim you have a straight path in comparison to the other ones
Facts.. and dlc was free... morrowind start for my peeps was always grab the flying scroll and jump to the north dlc island and build a village. Kill bears,clear caves and rob people until I got glass armor. Then maybe do the 1st quest😂..the good old days

Yeah, exactly! Although you do need the four main AE DLC’s to make the game function properly. But with other “DLCs” AE has to offer like new houses or new weapons or whatever, who cares?!? There’s plenty of free mods that have better weapons and armor than what AE has to offer.

I've been playing a new game and finding out all the new stuff that the anniversary edition has to offer. So far, I haven't touched the Dawnguard expansion and I have yet to see any of the new crossbows...
I do have a Dwarven Armored Mudcrab, though.
I call him Scuttles.
I love him.
But Dawnguard is really good though! Unless you prefer to join the Volkihar Vampires? Well either way, their dwarven crossbows look pretty good, even their own Dawngaurd crossbows but still, Dwarven crossbow rule!
