Verse reminds me a little bit of Von Miller, Khalil Mack(Rookie year) and Micah Parsons.
Went to same HS, terrible football team and Verse wasnt able to start on the Dline due to jumping offside. Played more TE. True project that needed to find the right coaching. Found that at Albany. Amazing story to go from not good enough to the best Edge in the draft. Someone will move up high in the draft specifically for this kid.

Yeah I’m pretty sold on Verse. Fast, strong, wins a lot and can win pretty instantly. Think he fits the Cardinals absolutely perfectly. Would be the best athlete in our D-line the second his name is called as well. Think I’d rather we got Newton if it’s gonna be one or the other, just cos a good edge rusher is slightly easier to find, and ultimately, our edge rushers as you said are playing way above expectations (although their expectations were to be where the Bears are, so not hard)
Good to hear from you Mike. I agree with you, an elite pass rushing 3-Tech is harder to find than a good edge. Verse would instantly be the Cards best pass rusher, his athletic profile is off the charts.
