Hello from West Virginia! This is exactly what I needed for my 22 800EX. I’m 6’3” so it’s been tight. I used 1 1/2” galvanized tubing and it worked perfect. Also, for those out there that are close to your CF Moto dealer, the shipping crates that these beasts come in have some fantastic galvanized tubing great for all sorts of things. They usually have so many of them they’ll just give ‘em away. BTW, love your channel!
This is a fabulous idea. I just did essentially the same thing but also added a 2x6 block between the bottom of the seat and bracket to fill the air gap caused by the 2x4s. It made a huge difference in my level of comfort and significantly improved entry/exit. Thanks!👍
Great video Roland as usual. I just installed my half windshield on my new sxs last night and the one clamp/bracket that has a welded nut on it the weld broke so I had to find a replacement nut that would work for now. I contacted the company and hopefully they'll send me a new one 🤞. Hopefully I'm tall enough that the crease in my half windshield doesn't interfere to much.
No not yet and it's driving me crazy!!! Hopefully this weekend. I don't want to get to much salt from the roads on it and I've been busy with 2 teenagers and trying to get all the accessories on. I've had to do a couple of modifications to the roof. I have a couple cans of Krown rust proof spray and I was thinking of giving it a good coating. Maybe I should wait until the fall though.
I'm enjoying your channel. I just bought the 2022 800 Trail. Orange. I pick it up Saturday. I wanted the EX so bad but I have size constraints in my toy hauler/camper. Anyway, your videos actually put me over the top on the decision. So thank you. I really wanted the Polaris RZR but the price difference is nuts.
Great idea and I like the way it looks after you crafted them. My wife runs a Honda Pioneer and I have the same issue when I drive it. I think I`m going to use aluminum stock instead of wood. I haven`t even looked at her machine, I`m just speculating since her machine is at the farm across town and I`m just now watching this video. But I don`t think I would have tackled it if you hadn`t shown me how easy it is to do on your ZForce. Thanks, Roland!
Did this mod give you more leg room on the right side? I'm considering getting the 800 Trail but on the right side my knee comes REALLY close to the dash.

Is the bolts millimeter? If so what size
Nice easy fix. I have the same plow on mine and it's a little hard to see it. With rising the seat should help. Thanks!!

Finished off installing my accessories tonight. Side mirrors didn't work out so I ordered new ones. Took it for a quick run. Awesome!!!

Yes it did and I only raised the seat and inch and a half. If you go a bit higher it will be that much better.
