You have a great imagination and so talented. If you don't want brush marks, Benjamin Moore makes a self leveling cabinet paint. Clients really love it as no brush marks. That bench turned out as professional looking as the experienced furniture restorers on You Tube videos.
Thank you for inspiration! Regarding papermasje’, I just use Wheat flour and water, blend it to a porriage consistency, and this is a child and environmently friendly glue, and tear news paper into pieces, dab this into the homemade glue and cover the botle or whar you want to cover. You most go for several layers. Let dry. Blend sand into the paint to get å rough look.
That terracotta pot, I did a bunch of them with that same look. I used joint compound; it's super cheap compared to spackle; you can purchase a 2L tub for CAD 6. I find that you can make it thin and smooth, and smoothing it out makes those pitting textures.
I pretty much love them all but the bench is a miraculous recovery. You do absolutely fabulous work! Unlike others that THINK they are making and posting "high-end" DIY's, YOU are!! thanks so very much!
Your project ideas turn out looking so organic & yes, sophisticated. ❤ That bench needed a lot of TLC to bring it back to life ! I so love 💕 that you took the time & energy to do that !! 🎉🎉
The cereal box magazine holder was cute. A piece of stained scrap board cut to fit the bottom and glued on could add weight to keep it stable and add a little more design.
Thank you for sharing your ideas. They are certainly unique. I've seen so many of the same, boring old things but you've done something original. I really enjoyed your video and will certainly watch any others that you post.
Everything is superb and high end. These do not look like DIYs, but something you'd see in a decor magazine. Your content is top tier and interesting. You are truly gifted.
I'm vegan and even *I* love antlers as decor. Shedding is absolutely natural, it's a process they go through with absolutely no input from humans. I just wish I lived in an area where they were more common to find!
I like that you’re relatively new and make mistakes. Lord knows, I do! It adds to your personality as a YT’er and DIY’er. I like you take chances with art acrylic paint and just go for it! That’s my kind of DIY! I’m new to some items and love the thrift store even though my husband would rather me junk my moms Antique’s that she bought and refinished 🤬. I do have a large mirror with a gold leave type paint but the frame that doesn’t match our appliances and light fixtures. So I’m going to paint it silver so it’s not so shiny. We have a brass lamp on the piece but mixed metals are in so rather than get rid of it and buy another mirror at GREAT expense so why not tackle it with silver spray paint? I think it will take the silver paint and if it’s too bright, I’ll use some textured spray paint and go for it! I like repurposing thrift store items as their “trash is your treasure”! It’s been hard to let go of her pieces since she died and the Ethan Allen furniture is lovely (and expensive), I want to either sell it or change the old timey drawer pulls and re-pad her chair pads as they are a dark chartreuse color even if it goes with our SW rug. Picking a color will be a challenge! Haha! You do have good ideas and will continue to learn. Even though my niece does water color abstract on canvas very beautifully, it may not be possible for her to do a piece for us. But I’ll try. What’s the worse that can happen? Try, try again! I look forward to your newer ideas too! Best of luck! Woodworking is no joke! I will say you’re thorough with your explanation! ❤️❤️❤️ Edit: I’ve seen DIY’ers use spackle MIXED With paint. Maybe easier and one step making sure it’s thinner consistency!
All your projects were fabulous! Don’t forget, we all have certain creativity in us because we are made with the image of God in us, and He is the most amazing Creator. Blessings 🥰
Your take on DIY is unique and different. Enjoyed your video. The piece with the candle wax then painted white was wonderful. Loved your spice vase too. And the bench..superb...sure admire your hard work.
Oh me, oh my, I spot with my little eye! I am definitely doing the jug technique on a couple of thrifted vases. Also, lately I’ve spotted rocks out and about that I thought would be awesome decor. I’ve always left them behind. I’m not going to do that anymore. Thank you.
Your finishes and upgrades have inspired me to refinish an old Sears sewing ma hine. My grandson in Pennsylvania found a dilapidated sewing machine. He gave it to me for my 75th birthday in June! Thanks to you and Jon and my daughter here in Connecticut I feel confident to upgrade the table it came in! I have
Great job. So many techniques and concepts that could be adapted to other projects. I really appreciate how you share your small disappointments along the way too. It shows us, not only how to watch out for such little problems, but also how to remedy them. Keep up the great work! 🌟 💫 ⭐️
You are amazing at seeing potential in a piece. I loved every single one of these! Like that’s anything new 🤷♀️ Oh & those antlers I remember so well 🤨-😂🤣 I had to laugh on how you nipped it in the bud before it became a topic this time. Love it 🤣😂 Hope you & your precious family are doing well. Thank you so much for taking the time to share all of these beautiful high end DIY’s. I appreciate you!
Love the bench! What a find! We bought a pew when our church was changing to chairs and sat it in the sun to naturall bleach which worked well, but took a summer to do, it’s vanished and kept outside now and we love it
I agree with all of your viewers. I think you look at the world in a very organic way and appreciate creativity in nature itself! Your eye for decor very much matches mine and everything you do is very unique a d classy! Thank you ! Absolutely gorgeous!
You are so talented and creative! I can’t believe you are not an interior designer by profession! If only Maryland was closer to Texas, I’d ask you to come tell me how to upgrade my house. Your neutral colors and clean lines are totally my vibe.
I started watching expecting the same old same old and could not put my phone down till the video was over. This was AWESOME!!! BTW a paint brush can also be used for the gold leaf to remove excess.
So I have been binge watching your DIYs and taking screenshots of everything I want to make. Let’s just say I have a lot of screenshots 😍 Great job at these!!
The bamboo! Love this idea to hang my inspiration pages. I’ll use my fishing line. I will be revisiting this particular post to utilize many other projects you showed.
Regarding the spice vase...if you have grout or hole filler putty, you can give the vase a little texture. I used tile grout on mine and they came out great. Just know that if the vessel is large, the grout will add weight to it.
More great DIYs! I know I've said this before, but you're so creative and original. I love seeing this kind of content that's not just a repeat of what everyone else is doing.
Girl you got me with all of you diy. I'm loving all of them.I wish I had some antlers I would definitely do that I think that antlers are is so amazing, I purchase some some paper mache paper mache deer head with antlers at hobby lobby, and it's that's nothing in comparison to what I see that you did with yours, I have an idea for mine if I had one or two I would definitely do it . I'm in love with all of your DIYs they are so perfect I'm actually getting ready to purchase my home and I am doing them all I'm in love I have all of these bottles and jugs that I have collected so now it's my time to start working on it. I'm so excited thank you so much for sharing you're very talented!!!
Classy and beautiful DIYs, as always. So many great ideas here but the rock paperweight was perhaps the most surprising and I think it's my favorite! I love the little ring handle on top.
I've just found and subscribed to your channel. I love that your crafting doesn't look "crafted"! You have a real eye for decor. Thanks for the inspiration.
The best thing for papier-mâché projects is liquid starch! One ingredient! Be sure your paper is torn in fairly thin strips! Works perfectly every time! Let each layer dry overnight!
Great ideas. Could use a little more experience with some items e.g. gold leaf and others. Videos would be half as long, without all the SERIOUS word wasting...wow
Wow .. very inspirational and finally some DIYs that are worth putting effort into my fav was the rock ones which are totally doable for beginners.. thanks a lot for sharing 👍👍
These are great projects!! I was thinking that it would be cool to cover a big canister, like the metal one you painted, with the rope & add some type of leather handle. It may be quite a bit of work but it would be gorgeous!! 💗
You’re amazing 👌 I see your videos since your very first beginnings In TH-cam !! 🌹🌹. And I still admire your creativity, your beautiful projects . May god bless you and yours as well .
Everything is so professional and pretty! Will definitely borrow these ideas! P.S. Fabric softener can be used to paper mache'! Messy, but easy! Keep the ideas coming! Also, I have found that dollar stores will give you the boxes that look like your magazine holder! 🙏 Bless you!

Thank you for serving! Nurse are the heart of the hospital and any organization. You are great at these DIYS. BRAVO.

Wow I love the kitchen table with the black and the natural wood.
Your project ideas turn out looking so organic & yes, sophisticated. ❤ That bench needed a lot of TLC to bring it back to life ! I so love 💕 that you took the time & energy to do that !! 🎉🎉
That Coffee Table!!! And the rocks ROCK!!
Awe yay!! Thank you!
The cereal box magazine holder was cute. A piece of stained scrap board cut to fit the bottom and glued on could add weight to keep it stable and add a little more design.
I used FedEx or USPS large mailing box instead of cereal box. But I cut to shorten it. It's more sturdy and hold the magazines better.
Thank you for sharing your ideas. They are certainly unique. I've seen so many of the same, boring old things but you've done something original. I really enjoyed your video and will certainly watch any others that you post.
I'M INLOVE HOW YOU DECORATE THE DIY PROJECT.ALL ARE SO ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL.

A goo-gone alternative is coconut oil or really any oil. Pouring very hot water in is also helpful.)
