Hi this was helpful. We bought the package because I like the special coffees and I can grab water at just about any place selling drinks on board. I love the mock tails and I can drink 15 drinks on a ship easily when you add coffees, waters, mocktails and juices.
That's just baloney that a couple can't share a drink package. I mean, how many people want 15 drinks a day anyway? So if they allow up to that, why can't a couple share it? Or for couples maybe have a little extra charge so they can share it, but why does each one have to pay full price when practically no one who is a moderate drinker will have 15 a day.
What I would advise if you could as a couple is to buy the bubbles package, bring two bottles of high prof wine, and buy two bottles to be delivered to your room. It will be 60-70% verses drink package
The drink packages seem to include charges or # of drinks on a per day basis. Do these charges include the first day of embarkation which might be as late as 3pm and the last day of disembarkation which may be as early as 8am??? It doesn't seem fair as it doesn't seem like you'd be able to utilize these packages on these days to the fullest enjoyment. Thank you.
I’m doing a 3 day cruise from Long Beach. My husband and his friends who are joining us drink a lot of Hennessy and I love the rum punch and martinis. Would this be worth the package?
It's technically Holland America's private island. When you get to the island, you will see all the signage says Holland America and not Carnival. The same is true at Princess Cays because it's owned by Princess Cruises. While the Carnival Corp owns it all, I believe part of the agreement with operating the island is that only the name brand line can include the drinks with their package. When they open up Celebration Key this next year, drinks should be included with the package there.
I'm NOT a big drinker of alcohol. Still, I would like to try at least a couple drinks. Wondering if I could get the drink package for like one or 2 days instead of the entire trip? Also do they offer a cheaper drink package with fewer drinks per day? Thought about sharing with my mom. No way I can drink 15 a day of anything LOL. If it costs too much which it mostly likely will then I will just buy a couple of drinks on their own & forget the package deal. Also don't want to fill up on drinks & not be able to enjoy the great food I love.
I have a question,if you take your own 12 cans of Coke’s on the ship and you have a Bacardi rum and Coke will that still be added to your drink package or will that be individual charge on your on-board expense???
My husband and I don’t drink like that but we get it. You can get the specialty drinks, bottle water, and you can get a shot and a soda that’s how it would be worth it however, there’s a drink cost on the internet that adds it up for you to see if it’s worth getting and I like fruity drinks, mimosas and this adds up. Plus if you have more sea days than port days it’s worth it. Only if you drink.
Can i add the drink package after I submit my booking? I am trying to add stuff to it but it wont let me so I was going to pay for the deposit and then add stuff.
We purchased a drink package for our cruise that departs from nyc and they did charge us for the first day. They also did not disclose that you could not use it on the first day. This is also the only place I have ever heard that this is the case. Can anyone shed some light on this? Is this true?
So if i wanted to plan a trip with the wife and kids, it would be best to say im staying in a room with a kid, and my wife in the other room with a kid. This way we only need to buy 1 package and we can share...
I don't drink alcohol or any of the beverages on bottomless my cabin mates do... Carnival expects everyone in the cabin to purchase the alcohol package no exclusions...👎👎... Honestly, I don't even need the soft drink package... Now I have to pay for whatever they decide to order. Not my favorite cruise line due to this. Let's see how the rest of the cruise goes...🤞
It honestly sucks ass that you have to purchase drink package for everyone of drinking age considering my wife literally can’t drink because she takes prescription medication it makes no sense to gouge people like that Iknow people cheat the rules and share packages anyway but why take that out on everyone else on the boat Carnival should really do something about it!
Exactly, so I just did the math. It won't work for us because my husband doesn't drink alcohol. The drink package for 5 day cruise right now with their 18% gratuity would be $840! Because we both would have to get the package. If I just purchased 4 drinks per day with gratuity, at $14/drink, it comes to around $330 over 5 days. (Without the package of course) I know I won't even drink that much. So it's a no brainer. No way would I spend $1000 for drinks on a cruise. Hecks no!
This is NEVER worth the money. We went on an 8 day (two of us) cruise with three ports and did our research beforehand. What a ripoff this would’ve been. We got the wine package (5 bottles for about $125) and that worked great. Had a cocktail or coffee here or there but never EVER got anywhere near the cost of the package. Alcoholic groups might find it worth it but your time could be better spent.
I figured the cheers package wouldn’t be worth my coins.. I’ve been researching and seen that they have a wine package which I may opt into because I’d much rather wine than hard liquor.

You get the milkshakes and spiked milkshakes too! They are fire and like 15 plus bucks
Awesome Video!! You always do a Great job 😊

It’s such a ripoff

I agree. It's ridiculous ‼️ I drink moderately. My partner doesn't drink at all‼️ Why should we pay that ridiculous price⁉️
5 or 6 drinks cost 50 plus per day, especially if you drink mixed drink
I buy it and drink 15 throughout the day. It’s worth it if you’re a drinker.
What about the Cruise the Vineyard 5 Bottle Wine package?

What happens if I don't want a drink can I give it to someone else with no stress?
If you give me your drink I won't stress over it. 😄
I’m doing a 3 day cruise from Long Beach. My husband and his friends who are joining us drink a lot of Hennessy and I love the rum punch and martinis. Would this be worth the package?
What does the bottomless bubbles package include, that's not already included with the cruise, besides soda?
As far as I know just soda
Going on a 4 fay to ensenada so on the way there we can't have any alcoholic drinks?
It's crazy you can't use the drink package on Carnivals private island, Half Moon Cay.
Ripoff‼️

With that in mind never book a cruise that stops there❣️
I sail from texas and they absolutely still charge you for the first day
I just bought a drink package for the breeze next month and I was charged 3 days for a 4 day cruise

It has to be for the duration of the cruise. Don’t get it unless you’re going to drink 6 or 7 drinks each day
@@enriqueburke7637That’s why most people be drunk on their😂😂😂trying to get their monies worth of alcohol.

thanks for sharing. do anyone know if we can bring pk redbull inplace of soda?
I just purchased the cheers pkg is the 15 a day limit alcohol only or does specialty coffees and energy drinks count towards the 15 also?
It's only the alcohol that counts. Nonalcoholic stuff is unlimited.
She answered that
Question if I get the cheers package would shots count as one drink or is it a limit of shots you can get?
Shots count as drink. But you can get drinks that have more than one shot in it
I just read the rules from Carnival website. A drink with double shot is considered 2 drinks.
Can i add the drink package after I submit my booking? I am trying to add stuff to it but it wont let me so I was going to pay for the deposit and then add stuff.
Can you bring mini apple juice if you dont drink soda?
all drinks you bring onboard apparently have to be in cans NOT bottles. Seems like a dumb rule, but I think they do sell apple juice in cans.
@billybob-ro6qf thank you so much! I pray you have a fantastic day!🙏🏾
Cans or cartons is acceptable per website.
Can you bring bottled water onboard instead of soda?
did u ever figure this out?

Not depart nyc...if u r from nyc
I can’t drink wine, and unfortunately they won’t let us bring liquor
you are allowed to bring one 750mL of wine per guest.
@@angelw1122so we can buy a bottle and bring it onto the ship?
I only buy the drink package if my cruise costs more.
No coke?
Without the cola? No
Why can’t the package be for 15 drinks? I can’t drink 15 a day. That’s to much

Best things to know.. don’t step foot on any Carnival ship and you’ll be fine.
Very easy, it's expensive.

You can call them and tell them one of the adults is a non-drinker. Presenting medical proof will provide you an exemption
Carnival drink package is a fucking pathetic joke. They dont even care how bad it makes them look.
