Related to changing choreo so the audience doesn't get bored, they know that people watch performances over and over these days, and that seeing them in concert is the only way to see them. So they tweak choreo, change costumes, and change hair styles/color, add glasses, etc., in an attempt to always keep ARMY guessing and to keep it interesting for ARMY for every performance. It's something they actually spoke about in one of their behind the scenes videos for a tour - I can't remember which one.
I love that they left a spot open for Suga who is still recovering from shoulder surgery. And that they uses his raps instead of rearranging the songs. Even though he is not there in person, he is irreplaceable. Get well soon Suga. And in "ON", That was Jungkook hitting those high notes. Just so you know, for award shows they do sing live, but some of the performances are usually pre-recorded.
Hey! Enjoyed your reaction. Glad you’re back. I’m sure the black swan performance took ages to rehearse - I was absolutely SHOCKED to see Jungkook lift Jimin up like that. That’s hard enough for professional ballet dancers to do, but Jimin is a man and he has to be heavier than the average ballerina. Not to mention doing it in water (footing less steady, heavier bc clothes wet), and the fact that Jimin didn’t get any kind of momentum going before the lift, Jungkook just grabbed him and LIFTED. I’ve been checking out reactions all day and one from a former dancer actually cried bc he was so shocked that they were capable of something so difficult. It’s really crazy stuff. Jimin has to have insane core strength to keep his legs so straight during the lift bc he had zero support while doing it. Just a note, the audio was kind of loud in the background - it sounded like there was some kind of feedback. I did enjoy the reaction though! Thank you and Merry Almost-Christmas!

They used augmented/virtual reality for these performances. Unlike what we are seeing on American shows, with stripped down performances, BTS is taking advantage of the ability, since everything is being done online/virtually, to ADD to performances with AR/VR. Some of that uses the screens you talked about, but also the dove that flew from Jin's hands at the end of Black Swan, and more. BTS has the choreography that they do for music videos, but they also do choreo for performances. In this case, the dance break in "Dynamite" (when "the boy" said they were "just dancing") was brand new for this performance. We haven't seen a dance break for "Dynamite" before, and this one was very inspired by Michael Jackson (as was a lot of the choreo in the MV for that song, actually). Jimin's costume was essentially a replica of a costume that Michael Jackson wore, with the sequined velvet jacket, hat, and an arm band. It would be good for you to learn each guy's name now. It seemed that you didn't realize there were only six of them for this performance, since Suga is out...which meant you also didn't see how they left his spot open throughout the performance. Since they had plenty of time to re-work choreography for this performance, the fact that they didn't was a strong statement that they are a group of 7, and no one is replaceable. Knowing their names and learning their personalities will increase your enjoyment of their performances.
Pls watch also the James Corden Show for the Life goes on and Dynamite performance. That was so good. They always make their performance different and up their game everytime.

I panicked, thinking you only reacted to a small portion of the performance! Anyways, fully agree that they are like athletes. They get injuries, and some of them already have some 'aches' that might be starting to get chronic. They always wish each other good health so that they can continue to do what they love which is to perform. Christmas!!!
I watched the full reaction but I am commenting here instead of over there. You can get the ARMY bombs on the weverse shop. I still don't have one but hopefully one day I will get one. Once you have one at a concert you can connect it and it will change colors according to how they have programed it but also they now have many songs you can listen to on the weverse app and can connect your ARMY bomb to while you listen and it will do the lights like in the concert. When you are not in concert mode you can connect it to the app in your phone and change the colors etc manual. About the choreography the main part usually stays the same but they will add a dance break etc and change the choreo for that. They know the fans usually watch all the performances so I think they try to keep it interesting for us. Anyone new will not know anything has changed. There was another performance the next day on another awards show called MAMA they did some of the same songs but with different stages etc again. It was amazing but you should not react to that on youtube because the MAMA awards are notorious for giving copyright strikes (I know it is confusing MMA and MAMA but they are different award shows) ...It you did you would have to heavily edit it etc but you should watch it anyway for yourselves even if you can't react on youtube. Oh and Christmas.
