I’m not saying this to defend Levy, but it is ironic to criticize someone for doing clickbait in a clickbait video (of an arguably worse type too - one that isn’t immediately discernible as clickbait, and instead of going in expecting such you go in actually thinking ‘oh no, what happened!’)
Ok so I know why the title was called Hans 100 percent, because in his Discord he had a pole of what we can call the title and Hans 100 percent had the most votes on his pole on his title
The only difference is Gotham's video wasn't specifically about Hans. He makes daily recaps highlighting several games from the tournament each round. Hans' game was just one of like 6 that he featured in the video. But Hans gets clicks so it's a pretty good title to use.
On the other hand, Hans knows his name is associated with cheating, yet he is brain dead enough to say he played perfectly in 3 games. What did he expect?

Finegold calling out @gothamchess for clickbait in his clickbait video. Classic.
Bro has a mate in 3 but looks for a mate in 2 💀
Nieman is so sensitive to accusations of cheating that now he sees accusations of cheating everywhere.
"sometimes when you swing, you hit a homerun" LOL I m gonna use that...
I should listen to Ben Finegold more often. I spent a lot of that 8 minutes laughing out loud.
beef aside, is GC's book any good? anyone took a gander?
@0:33 - Bd3+ wins rook (or bishop, your choice).
Video begins at 4:22
Dude there's new chess drama every week these days. Can we all just chill on the terrible behavior for a bit? It's getting exhausting.
I opened levy’s new chess book, and all it said was “Caro khan” on every page…
Was there a fight between left and right sides of your moustache?
You had me at, "that's what an idiot would call it".
glad I don't have to understand this now. thanks
0:33 is that mate???? bd6???
No?
On the other hand, Hans knows his name is associated with cheating, yet he is brain dead enough to say he played perfectly in 3 games. What did he expect?
I would argue that its a lot stupider to keep using an old archaic name for a company instead of the actual name of the company. You'll only look more and more silly and confuse more people the longer you refuse to accept reality. Eventually there will come a point where nobody knows what twitter means
6:19 I smelled it from here
*You explained the drama very well
Lmao why is that TH-cam ONLY recommends Ben Finegold to me when there is a controversy to talk about😂😂😂
Yep... Again
Levy often names videos things like "X PLAYS WITH 100% ACCCURACY!!!" because it drives clicks. Hans just took it in a way it wasn't intended.
