The message everywhere now is that the listed demands of the Nigerians Planning nationwide protest against economic hardship and corruption in public service have termed "impossible to achieve" ut a plot to remove thiefnubu - a narrative that is gaining traction amongst gullible Nigerians and are being bullied into just accepting their fate and move on.
Police IG makes u-turn on their earlier threats against the protestors, to now promising to be professional and protect all protestors. Here's a twist: your right to protest against government also gave those in support sane right to protest in support. So they can clash and police can be deployed to break it. Nice try!
Sowore was on TV today to state why this protest will go on and that the only people that can save these guys would be the people that don't show up. He listed the protest locations across Nigeria.
