Let's be honest, 2nd ex is the leader of their group and 1st ex is kind of passive. So he had no problem with 2nd ex dating Natalie, but 2nd ex couldn't handle her dating Max, the defendant.
Its not unhinged, its ridiculous and immature behaviour but its not uncommon in teenagers to behave like this.
Its a toss up in who's worse, 1st ex who seems otherwise responsible and as if he wouldn't normally be involved in things like this. Or 2nd ex who comes off as being more of a problem child, and clearly was pushing for the incident that happened.

@@queenbee3647 There's a difference between getting into an altercation at a store, and someone rolling up to your own house unexpectedly. In this case, it doesn't matter if the defendant called the police or not. The boys came to him with the explicit intent to beat him up, 3 to 1. At that point it was self defense. The kid had every right to defend his home and body. If he had caused bodily injury, that would be a different story. But in this case, the car was damaged because the three boys precipitated the altercation believing they could wallop on one guy for no reason. For that, Judy wasn't going to award one cent to the plaintiffs. They shouldn't have gone looking for trouble.

The second one is toxic. The first one needed a wake-up call. I guess that is why JJ wanted him to pay. Having a friend who probably "stole" your date and later being easily involved in the criminal act shows how weak and stupid he is.

LMAO !! FACTS !!... Homeboy's hairline is already heading into retirement... While his short friend looks like a grown adult in the face. In fact, he looks like a short version of the dad from Seventh Heaven. Benjamin Button genetics !! LOL !!

"I didn't really want to go to the house but I had nothing else to do." If that isn't the most peak teenager sentence.
