Loving the minimalist yet chic and cozy vibes of the house. I am so excited and happy for you, Romee and Laurens!! Wishing you and your family all the love, peace and joy!! 🤍🤍🤍
Your mother is so right with the fence! We're having a house with a lake and my kids both fell into it as young kids. They've been rescued, but I was completely in shock bc kids are drowning silently, you don't hear a "splash" or something, just silence. A friend's brother did anyway at his mother's house, when he was 4 and his sister (age 7 or 8 at that time) always told her mom: "Close the door of the pool fence, it's dangerous!" and the mother didn't. You don't have to be anxious about everything, kids need to experience both success and failure to learn, but safety is non-negotioable when it comes to water. All the best!
You should just get a sander and sand down the corners and edges. Smoothing out corners and edges is the most gratifying part of sanding so it would be a very fun project.
Your home is stunning! It's not the style I'd personally go for (obsessed with the 1800's farm houses in my area), but I appreciate how cool, clean, and modern it is.
Beautiful Home!!! A cheap and easy fix for sharp corners is a pool noodle, sliced down one side - cut to fit and wrap around sharp edges! Also, colorful for Mint ❤😊
I completely love the house, looks very comfy and love how minimalist, modern and organic shapes looks on it, very well done designing the house guys, hope you enjoy it a lot!
Your home turned out really nice! It's so interesting to see the differences in homes in other countries. Not that it's not similar to a home in the US but even just saying something like a US-sized refrigerator makes me think! I don't know any other size of refrigerator because I'm from here. All of that said, we say veranda, porch or patio for the rear outside area as well (in Ohio anyway).
I'm from the Netherlands and I'm still a bit "in awe" after many years when I see "a typical American house and fridge"... I always wonder why people need so much space to live in and why the fridge is so huge! 🤣 🤣 🤣 A typical Dutch home really does not look like this beautiful house but are way smaller and a standard fridge for us is usually half the size of "an American fridge" and divided in 2 parts.. The bottom part is a freezer (3 or 4 drawers) and the top half is a fridge.. The whole thing is about 6 ft high and as wide as a standard washing machine.. Yep... Small country, small homes and small fridges but on average the tallest people in the world... Not very logical right?? 🙈 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Gorgeous and classy house but I think if a growing kid is going to live in it, you should incorporate a lot of colors in order to stimulate your child's mind, imagination and creativity. It will also help give your child vivid memories of his/her childhood.
