Hey Runners! Would you like us to make a soundfont management tutorial for #VirtualMIDISynth? What we have shown in this video is just a tip of an iceberg. You can combine different instruments from multiple soundfonts and tweak the program's setting to really take your MIDI music to the next level, but that would require another video. Let us know!

    - The 'CoolSoft-VirtualMidi' and 'ScummVM' do not always go on very well.
The times it works, or shall I rather say partially works, it sounds great.
But it's freaking annoying when parts of the tracks are missing.
Doesn't matter how realistic and accurate the backdrop drum and bass is sounding if the main melody part of the track is missing.
That's like listening to a Karaoke-track without the vocals, and that sucks when it comes to Midi-music in games.
Sadly, the same goes for 'DosBox' in relation to 'CoolSoft-VirtualMidi'.
It's very frustrating to say the least...

Glad it that you found this helpful. I will be also making a more advanced tutorial for mixing and matching different soundfonts together in the emulator :)

Hey, what's the game you put in the intro? And is Duke Nuke raytraced?

Oh yeah, man. And that's "just" 50MB Roland SC-55 soundfont being used. You can use some crazy soundfonts, Gigs in size and make it sound like orchestra, but I prefer to "emulate" the top notch real devices that were available at the time. Just a personal preference ;)

Do you know why the reverb and Chorus is just whatever I set the max as for all midis? I run windows 11.
