    I am a broken man. So, many boxes. So many stairs...but boy is this worth it. Normal content will resume in early January and I'll continue to work on building this space, and getting a little break off for Christmas in the next couple of weeks.
    Thank you so much to all of you for making this possible, it's incredible to think how far we've come over the last few years and it's all thanks to you.
    Neil - RMC

      RMC - The Cave Broken? More like cave poor! It's wonderful! Keep at it! Don't forget to lift with your legs! Also don't forget to take a rest even if you have to push a video out a week so you don't get burnt out! So excited! I think this is the right step forward for your channel!

      @serpentza your such an inspiration. Great that you reveal whats happening in China.. and that you like retro or even Amigas. Thats just a humongous bonus. I watch your content and Voice of North Korea by Yeonmi Park. You are such important influencers and your knowledge is what people should listen to. Thanks to you and laowhy for the content you make. All the best from Oslo, Norway
      I did an interview with an Amiga person from Iraq, amitopia.com/amiga-had-70-share-in-1990-in-iraq-in-our-exclusive-mados-interview/ its a bit on the side of what you do, but it shows what wars can destroy. Great health to you.

    This really is an awesome space. Being on the top floor, it's not really a "cave" but the old building, with the finish on the walls really does make it look cave-like. I can see you being very happy here.

    This is the perfect place for a retro computing channel, A mill, looms where some of the very first early programmable machines, using a rudimentary punched cards system, you should stick a pulley system on the wall out side that hatch so you can just haul the stuff upto the cave with a rope.

    Ah! Man, nothing like that feeling you get when you are in your new place and the excitement of the possibilities of what you can do with it especially when you have so much space! I have that same feeling here about my house. I lived in a tiny 3 floor house that each floor was the size of a caravan, and now I live in a 3 floor house the size of 3 small houses per floor! Oh what blessing it is!! I could feel the excitement as you toured that beautiful historic building! The top floor! That is so ME!

    • @mm-hl7gh

    • @HolgerNestmann
      @HolgerNestmann 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Kevin I played the amiga version, but the ST was first en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speedball_2:_Brutal_Deluxe „ The first version was released in 1990 for the Atari ST.“

    • @jhfgjtjutyiuod
      @jhfgjtjutyiuod 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Kevin It wasn't even the capabilities difference between the machines, it was the fact that the Atari ST was born out of hate and vengeance because Jack Tramiel was denied the Amiga (by his old company Commodore he was forced out of, no less) so he set out to try and destroy it. Thankfully he and the ST failed in that endeavor, though the ST did cost the Amiga dearly in sales and the ST never had any other reason to exist and wouldn't have if not for Jack wanting revenge.

      Living in an 800 square foot bungalow (incidentally the same size LGR once said his house is) I was thinking the same thing. Having once started trying to fault find a PC after waking up at 3AM I can understand why he does that.

    Looks like the old landlord has actually done you a favour as you now have a much better space than you originally had - just a shame about the journey you had to go on to get there.

    Guess you'll have to christen the place by playing some Atic Atac on the BBC.

    I love watching TH-camrs in the process of upgrading their spaces. More videos about the process as you go would no doubt be appreciated by many

      a lot more 1m² is roughly 3x3=9 feet² so 200 m² is around 1800 feet².
      but never mind, i also often get confused when i convert areas or volumes :)

    This is turning into a retro version of Jayz 2 Cents moving to a new and larger premesis every few years with a video series on getting the setup done.

    What an awesome space you have now. And it looks incredibly beautiful around the surrounding area with the weir and other lovely views. Should be very inspiring for you as well. Looking forward to seeing more videos as you progress along this new path both your usual retro fare and the setup of the new space. And Merry Christmas for next week as well.

    What a perfect setting and location. It's almost like it's been purposely built for you.
    Lots of hard work ahead to get it set up, I'm sure, but it's going to be so rewarding too. Don't we all want to enjoy our work, after all?
