They died glorifying God, we can only hope to die for such a great cause. It broke my heart when I first read about these, especially Saint Bartholomew who had the most gruesome one. Makes me feel like I’ve had it so easy by comparison and that I’m ungrateful. I want to live a life glorifying God like they did. ☦️
Bro what in the heck did I just listen to This was the greatest compilation of the apostles I have ever heard This was so enriching and enlightening I think you from the bottom of my heart for shining light on these hidden gems God bless you and may we persevere and overcome slothfulness in this wicked world to let them know that Christ's kingdom reigns without end Lets get to work ☦️🙏🏽
I am going to drain it into my brain. Its a blast on headphones right now. Also taking notes. Thank you for recommending ''The Prologue of Orchid" I was planning to buy but now I have decided to.
It makes sense, given the dating of the gospels (70-100 ad), that St. John had written his gospel while on Patmos. He spent his time first preaching, then after being exiled to Patmos he had time to write his gospel, so of course it would be around the time that it is dated. Makes a lot of sense.
@@finrodfelagund8668 The lives of the apostles read in this episode are compiled by St. Nikolai Velimirovic in the Prologue. If you have disagreements, perhaps take it up with him.
Almost none of these stories are in the Bible so I know for a fact that they all got magically raptured before handing off the infallible King James Version to the next apostle like a football until Constantine buried it for 1200 years until Martin Luther miraculously found it via FAITH ALONE.... - NOW all the true believers in these last days who party every Wednesday and Friday because Mericuh baby will also be magically raptured to escape the coming of the beast, unlike the original Disciples who had to be the first Baptist martyrs 🙄
@ethanmurdoch7479 Revelation 17:5 - The New International Version (NIV) 5 The name written on her forehead was a mystery: babylon the great the mother of prostitutes and of the abominations of the earth.
Love your content. As a former Baptist now Orthodox Catechumen I relate a lot. Keep up the great work, and thank you!
I’m so grateful and proud to have St. Jude-Thaddeus as my patron saint ☦️
You’re such an underrated channel! I can’t wait for you to get big and say that I’ve been here since pre 5k subs!

@@herobornmusic9959 Glory to God! I agree, the lives of the apostles are extremely humbling and call us all to a higher way of life.

You might like Gospel Hearth's video "The Last days of Peter and Paul" he does a good job linking their deaths to Nero's imperial persecution
There are many different versions of how and where apostles died, we cannot say for sure what exactly happened to them.
