    I really loved this one, because I want to make a HUGE desert diorama for my Mandalorian shelf. Thank you for teaching us this technique! Super awesome!

    Always outdoing yourself, makes me think of putting a lava effect in the cracks and putting Anakin on it, thanks for the inspiration

    This made my morning commute to work so peaceful. Never fails to amaze. Love the option to remove the stand.

    I’ve always been interested in doing city scapes. You know, roads, rooftops, that kind of stuff. A few tutorial on how to do that would be awesome!

      Sounds like a great idea and definitely on my list of things to do!

    Desi you are like the Bob Ross of dioramas 👏😎 another awesome tutorial. Your instructions are so clear and very easy to follow; you really are an asset to the 1/6 scale collectable community. 👍

      Thanks! Yes, the hot wire cutter is really a game-changer in terms of diorama making. I know it’s an investment, but if you’re planning on crafting on a regular basis, I highly recommend it!

      Absolutely! I have a few planned for the future. The third Episode was also a detolf sized diorama, but can’t wait to do more at that size!

    thank you for your help desi this was a type of base I've been looking for, I wanted to put with 1/6 zack snyders justice league, knightmare squad I am building, cannot wait to get into this, easy to follow and helpful with very good results, could you explain on or if you could do a tutorial on how you would go about doing a more clean flat surfaces like bespin floor or walls, or carbin-freezing chamber flooring, what materials and techniques you would use, thanks cannot wait for future vids.

    • @metamorphiccustoms
      @metamorphiccustoms  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks and very happy to know you're going to try this!I would likely use styrene in those applications to get that smooth look. (Like the styrene I used in the marble effect tutorial.) I will have to add "clean" floors to my list of tutorials! :)

    Do you work with resins? I would love to see a Shore Trooper stand with a beach themed water effects and sand. Love your channel and I look forward to every video. 🤩

    • @metamorphiccustoms
      @metamorphiccustoms  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you!!! I haven’t worked with resins in a bit, but might so so again soon. I did a simple “base-topper” for my shore-trooper. It was a small beach shore, but it was effective. I’ll have to do an episode on it.

    Another great video Desi! Really rewarding to see those colors built up with the inks.
    Quick question, recommend any other mixes for textures with Mod Podge other than Sanded Grout? I saw in your jungle them you used it to but for some reason its like impossible to get in the UK! Would fine sand or a Polyfilla work as an alternative do you know? :)

    • @metamorphiccustoms
      @metamorphiccustoms  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Joe! You can always use regular sand, or even baking soda. I have used both multiple times and they look great. I have never used Polyfilla, but if its anything like plaster/spackle its probably best for replicating exterior wall surfaces.
