You can keep an AUX cable connected. System will not Auto turn ON the FM when ignition is turned ON and no mode settings needed too.

If you long press the off button, it will go into standby mode (not actually off) as per the manual. And it is also mentioned that the infotainment system will drain battery if we put car from ACC to ignition lock.
