SU-METAL: Flow! (laughs) To get a feel for the flow, I made a lot of different attempts to figure out what would be good. Like how to descend and ascend in pitch, and which timing would be the best to try the pitch changes. Even for the same phrase I’d try going a little ahead of the beat or a little bit behind it, while keeping the whole track’s balance in mind.
What's even crazier than the song itself is the fact that Su absolutely nails it live. The album version is so full of effects, I wouldn't even have thought it possible that they'd play it live at all. And you might think that a tiny girl like Su couldn't manage to bring this tune across adequately, but she's fantastic! Is why I also prefer the live to the track.. the auto-tune on her vocal sweeps , is like, well, gilding a lily. unnecessary . She does those pitch sweeps just fine without the enhancements
This song was only released in Japan and if you upload it on youtube it will most likely get blocked in Japan, that might explain the low view count. You should check out some fancams of the live performance of this song, it's so much better live with the choreo and everything :D

There is no official video for this song yet, we were hoping for a pro-shot live version but the show that was broadcast had this and another song cut (probably saving them for the DVD), so we still only have fan cam videos from the European tour earlier this year. You have a good mix in your Babymetal choices, but you should shore it up with a few staples. My personal favorites not reviewerd are Headbanger, Yava and Syncopation. Other great songs that you absolutely should do are Megitsune, Rondo of Nightmare, Sis Anger
Best new concept song they have. Trap Metal! It's such a banger live, and people go crazy in the pit. There is no official video for this song. This is just some random person's upload of it. Some fancam videos of this track have hundreds of thousands of views. It's one of the most popular songs on the new album. It is my favorite song on the new album. It was just released exclusively on the Japanese release of the album, so its not being officially sold outside the country. Casual fans who just listen to the international release probably don't even know this song exists. It's a shame.

It is absolute fire though, probably my second favorite track on the album. Straight up Su-Metal battle rap.
Is it popular? Yes and no. It's popular considering there is no music video and it was only released in Japan. We're hoping to get a proshot live version soon. There is a proshot version that was shot in January, but it's not available yet. There are quite a few fancams of it being performed live at small shows in Europe. It's kind of funny how they do the Japan only songs. They didn't do BMC in America but they did it a bunch in Europe. The other Japan only track BBAB hasn't been performed yet at all. But it'll be interesting to see if/when they do either of those songs in America. Obviously BMC will be a huge hit live.

I saw your reaction to the DHMIS videos (which is something I really enjoy see people reacting to) and I see that you also react to japanese music (I also like Babymetal and j-rock in general 😂), so I just had to recommend Dir en grey for you because they are easily my favorite musicians because they are really unique and the vocalist is extremely talented and writes really deep lyrics, I am sure you will be surprised by their music!

I bought it from a Japanese site as well and the quality is so good, but it makes it SUPER loud. Most of their songs that I have gotten through iTunes are kind of low, but Metal Galaxy brought better quality. Even still, if I want to really rock out to them in my car, I have to have them well over halfway up my volume bar. I got this, "Syncopation", and the other Japanese exclusives, and every one of them is friggin' loud at barely the quarter level of the volume bar. The quality is insane by comparison.
@@mr.osclasses5054 Yeah I got syncopation too. They are a lot louder than my other spotify songs, BUT you could use an editing program to adjust that, I just go from 50 to 40 on my car's volume setting typically and its about the same. I'm too lazy to edit them. 100% worth the couple bucks
