They are Fantastic. From first note too last note very well thought out and Incredibly executed. This band is as solid as it gets. Professor level every instrument, every note. Bravissimo!
It was mixed and mastered by Finnish masterminds Mikko Karmila and Mika Jussila, who have worked on all of the band's previous studio albums. Great work and a more Euro-centric sound. Prost !

Their guitar works sounds satisfying to me. You should watch Miyako shredding on piano and Midori on acoustic guitar.

So many sounds from Haruna. She has so many different cymbals and things. At the end of some runs she hits something that almost sounds like the glas crash. And she also have som nice bells. And, of course the steady footwork. And, Fami is following. So much complexity there, adding stuff and slapping in between song/solo parts. Such a totally fantastic cooperation!

Watching another musician React to this song is really fun. Beyond the amazing music, it is just pure joy to see your reaction to the Talent and Skill on display here. Yes, they are back, showing that in the last 1½ years during their hiatus, they have worked and gotten even Better in their musicianship. Thanks for another great reaction, and for doing a Fami one soon as well. Most of her stuff is short covers, but there are a few full length covers like Alien, Alien, also available as a Live performance with a support group (10 million Views on each). She also self-produced an album, where she plays bass, piano, guitar and sings songs she wrote and composed. She has 660K Subscribers on her TH-cam channel. And, she is only 20 F-ing years old!

Lovebites isn't power metal. They are Lovebites metal, a blend of power/speed/thrash/heavy metal like no other band I've ever heard before.
Fami's bass work, in my opinion, is a better fit with Miyako & Midori. Not only can she keep the engine running with Haruna, but she can move over and become a third wheel with guitar solos.

Thank you for helping spread the word for Lovebites. I expected a higher level of musicianship and composition upon their return because the remaining members always seek to improve. I expected it, but I wasn’t prepared for it. This is taking heavy metal to new heights, and for me, the best compliment I can give them is that this is Lovebites “Painkiller”. The only difference of course is Priest needed to rebuild their reputation after below par releases. Lovebites never have, nor never will have anything below par. It’s either “better” or “much better”. This builds on the EP “Glory, Glory to the World”. Onwards and upwards.
Yes, there HAS to be a Ceiling somewhere. BUT, they just keep raising the bar year after year. Shadowmaker MV was GREAT, and that was in 2017! Since that point they have risen from a Great band to a Legendary band. Metal heads will be listening to Lovebites years from now, they way old guys still listen to Priest, Maiden, and Scorpions.

Well.. if You liked this guitarsolo You must react to the song When Destinies Align. The live version from 2021 is fantastic BUT the musicvideo accents every aspect in the song so I prefer that version. In my view that song has one of the tastiest arranged guitarsolos in the metal history. Even Midori and Miyako them self has trouble to shine over that solo in my view. Why not make a double reaction. MV and Live... You want regret it.. I hope.. *-) God fortsättning på det nya året!
thank you for this reaction. it´s so amazing how different and yet amazingly good these two guitarists sound. midori ("the blonde") uses a kemper profiler rack and marshall cabinets with her main, the ESP E II FR. with seymour duncan PUs, I believe. miyako, the other one, is not only their main composer, pianist on pro level, but also a real guitar nerd. she is very specific and determined with her guitarsound. so she (and her guitartech) changed PUs on her main, a dean icon flamed maple top in denim, to active fishmans and replaced also the capacitators to better sounding ones from ovaltone. she did the same with her new signature V from dean. her amp is a peavey 6505+ with an older PPC212OB cabinet from orange. the prefers the sturdy build and straighter emitting characteristics. these ladies know their gear.
Oh, that's really interesting information about the gear! Yeah, I remember noticing that they've been using Kemper & Peavey 6505+ on the live performances I reacted to earlier. They definitely know their gear.

For the direction they are going, the new bassist is a fantastic addition. I have nothing but admiration for the talent of this band.
But it's not the band Miho san envisaged and it's not the band I was first attracted to either.
That probably says more about me tbh...

I don't think it could be much said about a "direction they are going". I don't expect an album with all songs like this and of course they pick a song for the first release that favors the new bassist. And even this song isn't far away from songs like "Thunder vengeance". But of course everybody should listen to music that he/she could feel the most.
Every opinion is valid but IMO they are definitely changing direction. Actually it started a couple of years ago. The '6th member' seems to be getting more and more influential with their sound. As stated, it's still FANTASTIC music but I'd take The Apocalypse over Judgement Day every time if I HAD to choose. I like what I like. As do others. In a nut shell, I guess my issue is with Mao.
@@Patrick_H. Miho will also play on Mari's upcoming solo album. Mari was the drummer for Mary's Blood.
Music: Asami and Mao mild surprise; Lyrics: Asami no surprise. Definity Lovebites everybody right back into the groove. Some new looks, Haruna is a blond, Fami has her a "Rockstar" hairdo and Midori is ripped, look at her arms! A little different in the guitar arrangements but still Lovebites. Can't wait for Miyako's song with Fami.

@Eyeosphere00 The objective in regard to "Don't say lazy" is to show that she multi-talented (aka Miyako) that she is bringing to the band.
