I used to love making maps for this, cant remember how many i had prob hundreds, had some secret buildings to capture to unlock the goods , the presidents with ship guns i think , used to love modding this game, prob still have them on a old HD somewhere have to search for them once i get this up and running again.

Ah yes, destroying trees to make more space for your buildings is a pro move
Use SEALs and pepper around the base to take out any parachutes. Depending on the composition of the base, best to take out the power plants, then construction yards. And build shipyards on the other side of the map 1st before putting on the right hand on your base. Other than that, your defences are tight

You can make selection groups for your units. You can select all your prisms and number them group 1, Prism tanks group 2, IFVs group 3, etc. then you can just press the numbers to select them and command them. Allows for more complex coordination during attacks. Also you can set waypoints for attacks so you can send units off on a programmed attack while you’re tending to other areas. You can also have units follow and escort others during the programmed attacks so that if units start attacking there is some defense for them.
You should build the ore purified, it increases the amount of gold you get a lot
Mirage tank works very well when they stay stationary..you gave them away once you move them around..its like "hey look, those tree is moving!!

I love how the computers can build multiple buildings at the same time. I guess that's one way to make them extra hard.

I wish you would use grouping more with the hotkeys 1-9. instead of launching 20 planes to end one building, you can group 4 together and just hit the hotkeys and target more buildings. Perhaps taking out 4 buildings in one go instead of just one.
When attacking with prism tanks, do the same, have two groups of prism tanks, 1 group of IFVs and you should be able to respond more quickly to incoming treaths. Additionally, battle fortresses filled with a couple rocket dudes and some seals are a better compliment to prism tanks then IFVs. Takes air and ground troops out easy while prism tanks can take all buildings. Other then that you are doing a good job. The AI really tests your stress levels! :)
They have started doing this more in recent videos, particularly with planes, I feel like they don't do it enough in general but also when I try to do grouping in fast-paced situations like this it tends to lock me down a little bit so I can't be as versatile.
For example if I make a group of six planes then lose two of them, now I have to rebuild the group to be able to be effective against single targets so I might as well just select them by hand every time.
I imagine it's a similar experience at this level of gameplay, making groups slows down your mind and introduces a limitation. That's my theory
Please more of this map 🗺 with other factions an plus the battles are more intense without super weapons. This battle proves it the amount of action there is going is like something out of a movie 🎥 simply astonishing an magnificent. Perfection
Man, if your gonna attack with prism tanks then you should get some cover against air units. Gosh it breaks my heart seeing those prism getting rekt to oblivion by air units. Nice game play tho

@@keimakatsuragi3166 IFV are quite hard to control, they are aggressive and will follow enemy. That's why they are bad defender.

Zoom rarely does that, don’t know why, I always used to send spy to get rank on all units 😉

When you take prism tanks to enemy base with lots of units, you just move prisms step by step, they attack anything in their range, you dont even have to give attack command, they rek everything, buildings are a joke to them. Well good luck, make more vids. I got no time to play red alert again these days, i just watch your vids.

@@TheLuozhixiang thats exactly what he is trying to do. but if you give order to prism tanks they bring a lot more enemies with it. they all attack your prism and prism get killed pretty fast if you are not careful. so my point is that you dont give the attack yourself and let prisms do their work, you just sit back and defend your prisms.
I admit this was a very good video, but it caught me (not in bad way) when you said you dont have time to play since watching 1 hour video is sufficient enough to play 1 skirmish game..

No, this guy has really bad control skills and loses engagements that should be easy because he doesn't prioritize targets correctly. He made this look super difficult when it should not have been. A pro player can finish this map in 20 minutes...
@@xxlegolas As ridiculous of a name as you have (ironic, coming from me), I'm gonna have to agree with you. A great example of this is when he's trying to clear the first AI base (around 44-minute mark) and basically loses all of his prism tanks for free because Zoom just zergs in for the power plants while prism towers and infantry kill his tanks.

So judging by the map, I assume ASEAN has been dissolved and now the upper part of the region is a free-for-all bloodbath? Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, and the rest of the nations there are vying for supremacy. Damn that's an awesome scenario. Oh and great battle as usual. The harder AI really seem intimidating.
Edit: Also, I approve of you placing cannons along the Kedah and Perlis border (at least I think what the map supposed to represent). That is something a North Malaysia might do.

I wonder if this an interesting campaign idea:
Assume Allies, Soviet and Yuri begin war with their territories. You roll one of this kind of map, set factions and teams according to the territory. And then you roll the dice for the side you play. The winner get to take the loser territory. Let's see how will it turn out.

One of the AI actually managed to spy his refinery, he lost $20,000 after that. What shocked me was when Zoom spied yellow's refinery, he got $100,000 lol.
Also love that the AI uses Aircraft Carrier because in vanilla Yuri's Revenge, only soviets train their best ship (Aside from Yuri because he only have Boomer Subs).

wow, you've been at this a long time without learning to micro at all or actually attack (like with your undefeatable swarms of jets) when able.
Or figure out that the easiest way to stop a handful of aircraft carriers isn't by building 50 AA guns at the shore, but just a couple of aegis cruisers lol.
Or group carriers in a team so you don't need to keep going back to them, selecting them, then attacking.

Hard watching the tank battles as the person kept losing his tanks to air and didn't have anti air tanks close by or if they did, they sent them away. Ugh, makes me want to play this badly though. How can you?

You can make spy disguise as enemy soldier no matter how far the distance is. Why keep moving them into enemy range before making them disguise?
Select your target better. 10 prism tanks should not focusing on one power plant and let 2 enemy prism murder them all.
First thing i do is to undercover them, i duuno where u saw it, but if i didnt, it was by mistake
BTW, in this mod its much harder use spies cos dogs/yuri can detect them from far away
Is it just me, or do the players in these vs AI challenges never seem to infiltrate war factory and barracks? I mean, all vehicles and infantry starting on veteran, man! Or is it some unwritten code of honor to make these games more challenging?

With me even a regular hard ai with that map is absolutely hard.. Battling 7 germany using russian faction.. They always negate my tank superiority with tank destroyers.. I win at time but i lose more than winning.. 😅

seriously, rather than brute force, my style is to make almost perfect defense (yeah almost, coz we still had to monitor time to time), then go makes few elite units as vanguard.
My favourites group consist of :
5 rocketeer,
2 chrono legion,
2 battle fortress [filled with 1 chrono legion, 1 naviseal, 2 guardian GI, 1 sniper].
4 prism tanks
4 mirage tanks
1 repaair IFV
1 default IFV
and some disposable spies for power down support.
As long as i'm not against german cannon or yuri, I can have fun with hit n run tactic consist only with Chrono Legions, sniper and some rocketeer. Heck i even use airplane only to bombard Base wall so that my legion can chrono shift it.
The tanks are for safeguard and specialized to repel yuri;s annoying magnetic tank.
also, rather than bombarding important structure to force them surrender, torture them via spy x mirage tanks is more fun to do.
Stole their funds with 10 spies or so, then proceed to dstroy their miner, and deploy mirage tanks around the base. That way they are forced to sell almost everything one by one just to create another miner that you continue to destroy.

Why does he keep going with the prism tank when they start taking heavy damage?
If he backed out just a bit and let the repair. They would have much higher chance of leveling up.
When level 3 and double repair rate... being a bit careful they are pretty much In destructible.
I do agree, having 2 or more groups of prism+mirage going up and down all the time reduce the number of casualties in battle and benefit on prolonged battles with enemies forces who outnumbered you. As we see, the promotion unit with three chevrons're on another level compared to one chevrons and no veterancy. But this is my opinion, he wants to finish them off as soon as possible so the video wouldn't be too boring by keeping on the prolonged tactic(cuz ppl want to only know how he'd survive agnaist the specially customize brutal AIs). And for me, playing rts game is the most way exhausting my mental state and thinking capability the more time you spend, the slower of thinking and creativity you had. Also, this is Red alert; the action real time stratergic games not a full-stratergic rts like company of heroes, no limit to population or keep can hindered you, the casualties isn't matter and allied spy can enter the enemy ore refinery anytime he wants unless there's dogs, the most important is how fun you had while trampling the enemies by your own feet. Sry for my bad grammar. Thank you
