  • After a good few months of work George (the 1974 Civic 1200 Hatch) breaks free of the garage and gets out on the road. Here's the first look around the car and the work that has been done.

You're amazing to finish the George's Civic so beautifully.
I will do my best for My Civic too.

Lovely work. Now I’ve got my own to work on i have lots of questions but love seeing the (almost) finished product.
Can you share what you think you spent overall?

Thanks! It's hard to say exactly but it's likely around 5k (GBP) in parts and materials (that includes the repaint) excluding the cost of the car. I'd say in terms of labour it's well over 500 hours but I am a slow worker! ;-)

Where did you get the seat belts? We’re they a kit and did you need to modify the body much to fit them?

@@LOLLYBONGO Thankfully not, the belts use the factory mounts/holes so a 10 minute swap!
