my pregnancy story: I got pregnant at 15 while still in high school and I would go to school every day with so much nausea and pregnancy pains and then after I had my baby I had 6 weeks at home before going right back to school. I graduated in 2015 and am now 23 with an almost 3rd grader! Much love out there to all the parents and especially the pregnant people who are going through it right now! it gets better❤
Colleen can I just say is literally so amazing and deserves the world. At one of her tours she was in a rush yet was still so freaking kind and was able to take a picture.
My sister was pregant and had cancer at the same time while also working full time. She would just go and barf when she needed too then go back to work. She also would carry a bucket in her car for when she needed to barf while driving. She didnt have any other option, they couldnt afford their house if she didnt work. She's a super hero! She ended up passing away from the cancer about 18 month after giving birth, but I just want her toughness and tenacity to live on!
You sister sounds like an amazing human being. I hope she is resting easy, and I hope her baby is healthy, her memory marches on for sure. You and your family are in my prayers.
Colleen, you don't have to "do" things to vlog, you can just record yourself being nauseous and I will still watch it. If you think about it, you're already doing a lot by making a baby from scratch, so be easy on yourself. We have been around this entire pandemic and we aren't going anywhere. I’m 19 weeks pregnant with my son right now and am a full time student I was vomiting all the way to my final exam for my anthropology class and once you’re there you can’t leave the room so here I am taking this test to ensure that I can graduate college dry heaving while wearing a mask trying to focus on these questions in a room surrounded by like 100 other people I finally got to the point where I didn’t answer the last two questions on the test handed it in and ran out of the room the girl behind me had eaten an everything bagel and was drinking straight black coffee and that’s all I could smell!
i mean she’s already saying she is. she always says that she used the test she used before and it says pregnant so she’s pregnant again. Maybe like she’ll mention the baby is finally coming or smth

I’m 32 weeks pregnant and my work FINALLY approved me to work from home for the last half of the day each day. I almost cried when they told me it was approved. I had to go to Labor and Delivery the other day during work because of cramping that didn’t feel right. It wasn’t until that experience that my boss took my request seriously to be part time at home.

At my company I can take bits of my leave early for doctors appointments or if I’m too sick to work, but that eats into the time I’m allowed to have off after the baby. So if I want/need to take the week off before my due date that’s a week I loose with my baby after he’s born. It’s so fucked, and I really hope it can change as a new generation moves into higher roles in companies.
Not my story, but my mom once told me about when she was in her 20’s she was working at a bank. One of her coworkers was pregnant and had bad nausea, so my mom had to cover for her so she could go to the bathroom without getting in trouble. It sucks that she could get in trouble for something she literally can’t control.

Love watching your videos! I worked up until 38 weeks pregnant as a care and support working in the community. I was extremely tired and swollen but feeling him kick and seeing my customers smile and be excited about the baby made it worth it
When my mom was pregnant with me she worked on he radio, she told me that every time she had to go throw up, she played stairway to heaven so she had time😂

I absolutely LOVE all of your videos and vlogs no matter if you were filming yourself laying in bed or playing with your family. We love you for YOU!! When I was pregnant with my daughter, I was a working behavioral therapist at a pediatric clinic working with children with Autism. I was super nauseous 24/7 for at least 2 months straight. Unfortunately I was working one on one with my clients (usually ages 2-4) every day and the only rest I could get was to go to the bathroom. 😂 My coworkers were helpful, but I constantly carried around Sprite, Ginger Ale and Gatorade, as well as a ton of applesauce pouches and dry cereal. We wore scrubs so I had lots of pockets to store all of my snacks. I will say that it was very hard to get up and go to work, but we also were fortunate and had an early leave program to where if you weren’t feeling well but weren’t super sick enough to call out of work or you just didn’t feel like being at work, you could request an early leave before 7 am and our boss would grant those sometimes to where you could have the entire day off and not be penalized with PTO or anything. I am so glad that I was able to get early leaves some days, but also I just had to suck it up a lot of times and do my job through all of the nausea. I guess it was like God was preparing me to be pregnant for the future, too, since I now have a toddler and I’m a stay at home mama. If I am able to get pregnant again (hopefully soon), I’m so blessed to be able to be home and would have help from my family, but also I kinda already did pregnancy with toddlers and kids around except they weren’t mine! 😂🤣 Prayers for your morning sickness and fatigue, mama!!
I'm currently 8.5 weeks right now. It's refreshing to see someone dealing with similar things right now and be reminded that I'm not alone in feeling sick, shaky, and tired. You're doing amazing and I like seeing you being you and not downplaying the difficulties that can, and frequently do, come with being pregnant.

Girl I feel you! When I was pregnant with my first son I was teaching 3rd grade and I used to run to the bathroom to puke and text another teacher to come watch my students. This pregnancy I am a stay-at-home mom and my husband is working from home and helps me a ton and I just cannot imagine/remember how I did it last time.
I paused as clearly as i could and then googled early twin ultrasounds and there is DEFINELTY two sacs in that ultra sound picture. They were almost identical theres no doubt in my mind that she is having twins, and if she isnt then I dont care the baby is gonna be adorable

You're not annoying at all! I love your pregnancy videos because they are so raw and real. When I was pregnant with my daughter I had terrible nausea from week 6 until i gave birth at 38 weeks. It was terrible, vomiting at least once every day for 32 weeks straight, even in the hospital the morning I gave birth to my daughter, i still threw up. I worked with kids with special needs at my local school every week day until 30 weeks. Then my blood pressure got way too high and I was put on bed rest. You gave birth to flin right after I found out that I was pregnant, so I went back and watched all of your pregnancy videos when ever I was feeling majorly down or sick. That helped me soooooo much to not feel alone through all of it. Please please keep posting when you are feeling up to it. I know it helped me and I'm sure it will help someone else too. Thank you!

I’m 32 weeks pregnant and my work FINALLY approved me to work from home for the last half of the day each day. I almost cried when they told me it was approved.
I had to go to Labor and Delivery the other day during work because of cramping that didn’t feel right. It wasn’t until that experience that my boss took my request seriously to be part time at home.

At my company I can take bits of my leave early for doctors appointments or if I’m too sick to work, but that eats into the time I’m allowed to have off after the baby.
So if I want/need to take the week off before my due date that’s a week I loose with my baby after he’s born.
It’s so fucked, and I really hope it can change as a new generation moves into higher roles in companies.
Not my story, but my mom once told me about when she was in her 20’s she was working at a bank. One of her coworkers was pregnant and had bad nausea, so my mom had to cover for her so she could go to the bathroom without getting in trouble. It sucks that she could get in trouble for something she literally can’t control.

Love watching your videos! I worked up until 38 weeks pregnant as a care and support working in the community. I was extremely tired and swollen but feeling him kick and seeing my customers smile and be excited about the baby made it worth it
When my mom was pregnant with me she worked on he radio, she told me that every time she had to go throw up, she played stairway to heaven so she had time😂

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I was a working behavioral therapist at a pediatric clinic working with children with Autism. I was super nauseous 24/7 for at least 2 months straight. Unfortunately I was working one on one with my clients (usually ages 2-4) every day and the only rest I could get was to go to the bathroom. 😂 My coworkers were helpful, but I constantly carried around Sprite, Ginger Ale and Gatorade, as well as a ton of applesauce pouches and dry cereal. We wore scrubs so I had lots of pockets to store all of my snacks. I will say that it was very hard to get up and go to work, but we also were fortunate and had an early leave program to where if you weren’t feeling well but weren’t super sick enough to call out of work or you just didn’t feel like being at work, you could request an early leave before 7 am and our boss would grant those sometimes to where you could have the entire day off and not be penalized with PTO or anything. I am so glad that I was able to get early leaves some days, but also I just had to suck it up a lot of times and do my job through all of the nausea. I guess it was like God was preparing me to be pregnant for the future, too, since I now have a toddler and I’m a stay at home mama. If I am able to get pregnant again (hopefully soon), I’m so blessed to be able to be home and would have help from my family, but also I kinda already did pregnancy with toddlers and kids around except they weren’t mine! 😂🤣

You're doing amazing and I like seeing you being you and not downplaying the difficulties that can, and frequently do, come with being pregnant.

Girl I feel you! When I was pregnant with my first son I was teaching 3rd grade and I used to run to the bathroom to puke and text another teacher to come watch my students. This pregnancy I am a stay-at-home mom and my husband is working from home and helps me a ton and I just cannot imagine/remember how I did it last time.

I paused as clearly as i could and then googled early twin ultrasounds and there is DEFINELTY two sacs in that ultra sound picture. They were almost identical theres no doubt in my mind that she is having twins, and if she isnt then I dont care the baby is gonna be adorable

That’s a set of fraternal twins. I work in the medical field and can read ultrasounds too. But we will wait until she is ready to announce what she is having. ❤️ who knows maybe we are wrong! Just praying for a healthy easier pregnancy.

When I was pregnant with my daughter I had terrible nausea from week 6 until i gave birth at 38 weeks. It was terrible, vomiting at least once every day for 32 weeks straight, even in the hospital the morning I gave birth to my daughter, i still threw up. I worked with kids with special needs at my local school every week day until 30 weeks. Then my blood pressure got way too high and I was put on bed rest.
You gave birth to flin right after I found out that I was pregnant, so I went back and watched all of your pregnancy videos when ever I was feeling majorly down or sick. That helped me soooooo much to not feel alone through all of it. Please please keep posting when you are feeling up to it. I know it helped me and I'm sure it will help someone else too. Thank you!
