How about adding set collection or goals to make cards choice relevant?
Definitely looks like one I wouldn't bother playing without the advanced rule set up. Sounds like a much more interesting game with those options.
It's a simple and elegant set of rules as it is, I just think it might be a bit too simple for me using the mancala mechanic. I don't see a reason for me to play this over a game like Five Tribes where there are morr variations of powers and cool combos you can pull off. Just seems like this game needs a BIT more mechanically.
Actually when I saw 6 cards you can complete each turn it instantly felt overwhelming since nobody will possibly be able to forsee all the options and denying opponents at the same time..
Makes huge AP problem imho + why aren't the butterfly and pattern cards next to each other? Visually that's harder to read..
