Hi Joe thank you for posting this subject as it is one of my favourite styles of float fishing for big fish. Now the Gt Ouse is a different animal to the Trent, much slower and deeper, 15ft plus is not unusual and averages 10 to 14ft and is full of big fish . Double figure bream and Tench, monster perch, odd big Chub and nuisance Carp to over 30lbs! So I have been discharged from hospital as they can't do anymore and just hope I can get a couple of sessions in before I'm to far gone. Good point from Lee about ready tied hooks. Anyway keep the video's coming please, kindest regards Bill
Get so peed off with the amount of adverts
Prettied 6” barbs it’s ridiculous that it’s taken a company this long to make them! Well done Preston
I could happily live out the rest of my life at that spot. It's stunning. (That's if her indoors take my collar and lead off.....LOL) Great stuff, such a placid pace of life and to find Lee (Mr. do everything twicw as fast) fishing there speaks volumes.
Nice one Joe. Thanks.
Those pre-tied with the mag store are just so bloody convenient
Amazing I rember fishing alongside lee years ago now he is one of the best! 🙏 go lee 💪💪
Oh the one day in a hundred when the wind isn't howling downstream
Are the pre-tied hooklengths available in shops now?
Lovely looking day for the float, thanks for sharing 👍
Looks a nice of river, where on the Trent is it. The sky was nice too !! thanks Joe and Lee.😊
Its the border of Hoveringham and Caythorpe.
The pegs just down stream were the grass bank ends and there are just trees opersite is a top area for long range feeder fishing.
From memory they were pegs numbers in the 120s , been 25 years since fished there , but living in Australia makes it a long fishing trip.
Nice video! Would you mind telling me where that is? Much appreciated
