The D606 will last a long time but are very noisy on the road. The front will want to washout in the dirt. You should try the MT21 as a comparison. I prefer the MT21 on my DRZ400. Better grip on and off road and are pretty quite. I will still get 10,000KM on the front and around 5000km on the rear.
i run d606 on my DR650 (when i had it ) and loved them , you are right about not trusting them in the wet 😁 BUT dam they griped well in the dry 😍👍 i could get around 5000ks out of the rear tire and double out of the front 😁👌 tried a mt21 once and to get it to work well had to run arount 20psi , d606 around 15psi 🤔 will not get another mt21 as toooo soft in the side wall and when goes flat WILL come of the rim in 10mtrs 😠😬 WOULD NOT BE GOOD if went flat on black top 😖😖 sold the dr and now ride a TTR250 (d606 WILL last a looong time on a light bike ) 🤣🤣 keep well and be safe mate😎🍺

Awesome sounding Bike. Yeh have D606 on the DRZ400.
STI backs their stuff just opened my front door and almost tripped over the 2 tires yes 2 F and R and a heavy duty tube WOW great stuff

I got a 606 on the rear of my ktm 500 there mint metzler Mc 360 on front

I had the front 606 on KLX250, and can say on wet pavement it was scary cuz it slipped out on corners unpredictably. Other than that it was good.
Ya, I think most knobbies are gonna be little sketchy on wet asphalt. Thanks for the comment.

i cant find 1 good rear that can hold up yet i have destroyed an ac10 and STI rear tires both in one month of installation
thx for the comment. Try the 606, it's a little harder compound. I'm still using this same tire 5 months later.
