    The unlimited can push any mag because in steady mode the machine keeps the stitch frequency constant so when pressure is applied it gives a slight boost to keep the hz the same no matter how hard you press. It's amazing even barley running at 25 hz it will not stall even having a mag buried into synthetic skin pretty amazing tech

    Ive used the 4.0 SNU for 2 years and i completely disagree with your criticism of the button. Iv’e never had an issue finding it or pressing it. Also, I really don’t mind not having a digital readout. The numbers don’t matter to me at all. If i need it faster I just turn it up, if i need it slower i turn it down.

    • @ThatTattooShow
      @ThatTattooShow  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s the great thing about it, everything is personal opinion. Like I personally thing that when you wrap the machine with certain products it does make it more difficult to find that button. Is it a problem? Not really, but I think making it a little bit bigger may be a better option for artists that have the same opinion as myself. It’s all about finding balance.
      Although the readout. As much as I’m used to not having it, I would still prefer to have one, which again is just a personal opinion.

    • @ConnorFormicola
      @ConnorFormicola 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ThatTattooShow Yes this is mostly each individual user’s opinion. However, what’s not a matter of opinion is that adding more features to a tool increases the variables and potential for things to go wrong. More tech inside of my tattoo machine could mean 1. The machine could be larger and heavier and 2. More room for technological error/glitches and need for repairs. If that’s worth it to you then that’s completely understandable. For me, It feels like the less i have to pay attention to my tools, the more attention i can pay to the work. I appreciate the streamlining of the tattooing experience that cheyenne provided.

    • @ThatTattooShow
      @ThatTattooShow  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Making it modular and adding a screen and a larger button wouldn’t really add that much weight to it. Also as a tool being modular would be better. As I always say, if the power unit breaks then machine is redundant. If it’s modular the you can send the detachable power unit off for repair and add a 3.5mm jack module to continue using the machine or another power supply module.

      @@ThatTattooShow Well, now it sounds like you just want Cheyenne to make an FK irons Exo. I chose Cheyenne’s machine because of the design. I personally would switch companies if Cheyenne made these changes.

    • @ThatTattooShow
      @ThatTattooShow  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not at all. What I want is a machine that is modular just like other brands. I use the snu 4.0 and 5.0 but if I had the option of having a standard sol nova with the same stroke lengths I would choose those and use a critical battery. Just because I have more flexibility regarding the usability and power options.
      I’m not sure why you don’t see that not being modular is a design flaw. but each to their own u guess. 👍

    used this machine for a few months, and it regularly popped cheyenne cartridge membranes. when i reached out to them, they said they’re aware of it and trying to develop tougher membranes. havent had this issue at all with the acus m1.

    I love the option of Switching batteries . Reminds me of my metal detector. I wanted a good 1 and so many options on the market. I choose not to buy 1 with batteries i can never change. I see nothing wrong with removable battery packs. I can now store it and dont have to worry about the acid leaking. I can add new batteries when i need to use it.

    Any artist has a machine that shades this is the a great addition I have a machine that has 3.5 a 4.2 and 5 .0 stroke and I keep the 5 mill stroke on it cause I have a bunch of machines that are softer hitting so having machine with these capabilities is great if u pair it with the3.5version u can do everything I feel

    Ive owned the 3.5 and 4.0 version of this. I love the use of batteries instead of batter pack, and love size and shape, and I really wanted to love the machines….but they ended up being back ups to my bishop wand packer and shader. I feel like I would prefer the bishop liner over this. They are good machines, I just like the bishops better.

    About the button, what I do is to draw a line with a marker on the tape that I use to wrap the sleeve on the machine, in front of the button. So I can visually see the line and know that the button is on the same row with the line. ❤ Hope it helps someone.

    • @youaintmyauthority4732
      @youaintmyauthority4732 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ericcraw9265 the Bishop liner is a f#kin war hammer.. at first I wasn’t sure if I liked it, have the packer also and had got used to that.. it seemed to work better than the liner on the kinda jobs the liner was specified to do better.. strange.. but, I persevered.. then as it is with us machine geeks.. I found that perfect sweet spot.. for me it’s 7.5v.. it feels like you wanna pull the lines slowly, yet when you move your hand quick, it gets em in quick and solid.. I will say that the 45degree angle does seem to be very relevant with the bishop liner.. doesn’t seem as effective otherwise, still works, but at that angle it really is super fast to work with, I’ve literally lined entire pieces without having to do and 2nd pass on a line, maybe the odd touch up of a connecting line, but generally just good results..
      Bit like chris said here.. I was concerned at first.. is it gonna chew people up really easy, however, it hasn’t, it def could 😂😂 but if you don’t hang about on any areas, your cool. Very satisfied with it as a purchase..
      If I had to have either the liner or the packer.. I would choose the packer, simple because it’s just more versatile.. it genuinely is the best bit of kit I’ve bought in last few years.

    Why overpay for Cheyenne?! The Acus M1 is much better and has everything you need - it was created by two ex-engineers who left Cheyenne.

    • @ThatTattooShow
      @ThatTattooShow  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Why? Perhaps people prefer the way the Cheyenne machine runs over the acus. As nice as the acus is there are aspects of it that may not suit everyone. We are aware they are former engineers as we have reviewed a machine and spoken to them extensively, they are nice people. Doesn’t mean the machine is going to be the same quality and standard build though. Even though the acus m1 is a nice build, doesn’t mean it has everything you need or is much better. That’s down to personal taste.

    I find the Unlimited series SO FRUSTRATING! I've always like Cheyenne's machines. Super smooth, reliable and well built. But for me they've got it wrong with the gesture control. Stigma have the Force which has motion control as an option but still has a screen. And that machine is modular too.
