Bajirao Singham is a police sub- inspector who hails from a small town of Sawantwadi in Maharashtra. He fights against corruption with the valor of lion.
When Kavya comes to Sawantwadi, from Goa to visit her grandparents on a vacation she is charmed by Bajirao's bold and courageous demeanor.
Everything goes well for Singham until there is a clash with a goon that eventually escalates into a full blown fight. Singham eventually gets promoted & is transferred to Goa which also happens to be the operational hub of the goon.
While this move brings Singham closer to Kavya, it also brings him in the clutches of the very same goon who is on a mission to destroy him. How Singham rises to the challenge to expose this crook and put an end to his malicious activities forms the rest of the story.

1st of all a dsp has a lot of security he font come walking into a police station like that. Moreover he has the power to terminate a normal inspector without any consequences. Moreover the politicians have very very high security with specially trained bodyguards generally ftom the army who can easily defeat a few cops. Also the inspector would be jailed for a very long time for evfn trying to beat an elected representative

Here is my opinion about the Cop Universe:
Both the Singham movies are my favourites and Ajay Devgan as Bajirao Singham defined what a great cop is. Then came Simmba and honestly, this film did not live up to my expectations. Ranveer Singh as Sangram Bhalerao was extremely annoying with his constant overacting carrying the entire movie. I think another actor could've portrayed the character a lot better but at the end of the day, Ranveer is not the one to be blamed here but rather Rohit Shetty for allowing him to act this way. I will never understand how Simmba even became a blockbuster. Then came Sooryavanshi and personally, this film was a big upgrade in the universe and it made me so happy that it restored my faith in the universe again. The cameos of Singham and Simmba were executed well and a couple jokes from Bhalerao made me chuckle. I found him less annoying in his cameo in Sooryavanshi than in his own movie. All in all, Sooryavanshi was a well made film and it has raised my expectations for what's next in the Cop universe.
P.S. I'm very excited for Indian Police Force and Singham 3

rohit shetty's inclination towards creating an action extravaganza has eventually resulted in the decrease in his films' quality. Movies like singham and simmba were not hits at the box office because of the action but they were sucessful because they had well written screenplays and drama that kept the audience hooked. But sooryavanshi felt more like a cash grab as it felt like the director just put scenes in the movie to add shock value or provide some whistles in theatres.
So at the end, the cameos too felt jarring as the buildup until the climax didn't keep me hooked.
I hope there is a good story backing the huge starcast of singham again :)
