It definitely is! It was fun to incorporate snorkeling in with a hike. I think it was a first for me!

I’m a hiker but took the easy way (by boat twice) to this amazing site. It maybe my favorite snorkeling site along with Honaunau ( Two Steps ). Both have a fine array of fish and the water clarity is excellent. The hike statistically isn’t difficult until you factor in the heat and humidity. I enjoyed hiking Kilauea Iki as, while still humid, was much cooler due to the altitude.

Oh nice! Yeah this place is impressive for sure. We also did two step as well…both spots are incredible. The clarity of the water on the Big Island is really something.
We also hike Kīlauea Iki as well. That higher elevation definitely helped with the temps. I’m excited to do that video soon as well.
I’m glad you got to experience this place…it’s something special for sure.
      Thanks for watching!

Awesome video as always, but you've taken it to the next level with drone and underwater videography! Excellent! If you are a reader and have any interest in Cpt. Cook and Hawaii, might I suggest the book Blue Latitudes: Boldly Going Where Captain Cook Has Gone Before by Tony Horwitz. Tony is one of those guys who could write about garbage pickup in your neighborhood and make it interesting. I first found out about Tony Horwitz from his book Confederates in the Attic: Dispatches from the Unfinished Civil War which is outstanding. Yes, it is about the US Civil War and those who haven't stopped fighting it, so to speak. Great book!

Hey thanks man! I’m trying to learn a few new things. It’s been fun to incorporate the drone in these trips. It’s challenging to be smooth in the shots. And it’s even tougher knowing where you can legally fly the drones. I’m slowly figuring it out though. Glad you enjoyed it!

You left out the part when Cook has Hawaiian Chief Kalaniopu held at gunpoint. Making him kneel to the ground, a king never kneels in Hawaii, and Kalaniopu's right hand man, Kanaina knew then and attacked Cook and stabbed him.
