Airplanes are a blast! I love take off! As for turbulence, I know it can feel scary. There's a lot of flight attendants on youtube who talk about it, and how it's normal and nothing to worry about, as long as you're buckled up!

I've actually had a similar experience similar to Evie! I flew on a plane by myself and just like Evie I had only flew once with my mom when I was 1. So, I was incredibly terrified to go alone at 13. I was so scared something bad was going to happen to me, but it was actually really great! Ps: (I flew with delta) and they give you tons of extra snacks! :)
I flew for the first time alone from Boston MA to Tucson AZ with one layover. I was a little nervous at first about it but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be and I LOVED the experience and would fly alone again in a heartbeat! She will have a great time!
okay as someone who lives closed to nyc and has been to nyc in the winter, make sure you have layers!!! it is so cold out there especially because it can get windy too. gloves, hat, coat and boots would be perfect

It's not all it's cracked up to be and people are difficult sometimes about it. Service dog handlers have a strict code of conduct that they hold their dogs and themselves too because too many people fake service dogs (which is actually against the law). It makes it harder on handlers to be given their legal access rights that they're entitled to when a dog is not trained properly and causes problems/is disruptive in a store. Most handlers will first take their dogs to pet friendly stores to start training them for public access and gradually branch out from there. Also, I would like to mention, that while most handlers find it helpful to vest their dogs, it is not legally required in the United States so do what works for you. Also, if you do go this route know that people can only legally ask you two questions: 1. Is the dog a service dog required because of a disablility and 2. What work or tasks has the dog been trained to perform. So, if my dog was better behaved (she was attacked by an untrained dog in a store and is now reactive to other dogs) and I took her out where someone asked me this, I would say, "Yes, she is a medical alert and response dog.". You don't have to tell anyone anything other than that information. Also, service dog registrations are scams and only cause problems in reality. So, know your rights and understand the code of conduct that your dog is going to be held to in order to not be assumed to be fake, even if they're not, by other people if you decide to go this route and best of luck to you. ❤️❤️❤️. As someone who knows someone with a service dog, stores are really really stressful for them when other dogs who may be not as well trained, bark a lot and get too curious of a working dog. They are “working” saving lives, it can be a matter of life and death for so many if their dogs are distracted. I understand it’s your choice, and it’s allowed but I do not recommend it!! Even if it was intended as a joke, it’s a very serious situation that many don’t take lightly!!!

Evie doesn't need to be scared. I took my first flight alone when I was 16 from Germany to New York (8 hour flight) and when I was 17 from Germany to Chicago and then to Pittsburg. It is scary at first but they lead you thru everything and tell you what to do. I have been on over 50 flights now. (First flight when I was 4 Month old). So I am used to it now. The plane might shake which can be terrifying but you will be okey. Don't worry. Also you can always ask other people for help. That's what I did as well when I had to fly by myself.
I stayed local for collage and I still live local to my parents. Well, I am an only child and I am close with my parents and I know that your children are close to you too and that you will really miss your oldest daughter. But, I live in New York and near the city so your daughter is blessed to be going to New York City. Manhattan has so much to offer.

It could be very dangerous for those with service animals and for Clover herself. There are a lot of pet-friendly stores you can bring her to like Homegoods, Home Depot, Lowes, Marshalls! Some Sephoras might let pets in too as long as you call beforehand to make sure! Anyway, I love you all and hope you all stay safe! ❤️
Hey that sounds like fun! And you're gonna be in safe hands because flight crews are well trained to deal with anything. And lets see. If you take a direct flight to new york if you're flying into jfk; based on the two airlines that offer direct flights you'll probably go on an Airbus A321. And the most exciting place to sit on the plane; at least it is for me is by the window and slightly behind the wing. You'll get to see how the flaps operate; not to mention the heavy roar of the engines when the plane is taking off. When it takes off and when it lands are the most exciting phases of light. SO have fun Evie but stay safe

I’ve only ever been on a plane 2 times in my life but when I was little she my mom and I were going to Florida for vacation and then going home so it’s been a long time. Btw, when it comes to the girls removing their makeup at the end of the day…..makeup remover wipes like the Nutrogena ones aren’t that good because they’re meant to dry your skin out fast (hence why you have to use like 2-3 of them every time) and they’re not good for the environment. It’s best to use either a makeup remover cleaning balm or oil that’s meant for their skin types (dry, oily, combo) or a micellar cleansing water, and a reusable makeup remover cloth. Since the girls even Evie, are still pretty young…..you don’t want them to use any products that could irritate their skin.
I wouldn't recommend putting your dog in a service dog vest if they are not trained properly, 1. it defeats the purpose of a service dog 2. it can distract real service dog who are trained to alert medical emergency and lastly it's just disrespectful for the ones who put a lot of money and hours in training they're service animal. I have one myself and a fake service dog once distracted my dog with his barking and she missed an attack I had.

I love flying! I mainly fly from Fort Lauderdale to Allentown PA where my gma lives. I was born in Pennsylvania and moved here to South Florida in the summer of 95
Even though it is setup for where no parents are necessary, I would still have one parent go with Evie. If it were me, I would want to be there to monitor things. Certainly not too the point of being a helicopter parent, but a parent should still be involved. I’m sure the modeling company are good people, but Evie should have someone there advocating for her. She can have her own room and allowed freedom, but a parent should still be there to look out for her best interest.
I’m 19 and went in an airplane for the first time this past year. The first flight was super scary and I had a panic attack but it’s kinda pretty up in the sky. Takeoff and landing are kinda scary but she will be fine :)

Absolutely not okay to put a service dog vest on a non-service dog. I have watched you all for years, and as a person with an actual disability that has a service dog, that infuriates me. Stop taking the dog into stores period. It is not cute or funny. I have passed out in a store and yet my service dog got distracted by a non-service dog and missed an alert. I am completely ok with everything you all do and have no problem but that is absolutely not ok. Please please please please please stop doing this and do not whatsoever try to ever pass her as a service dog (whether you are pretending or not.) You can actually be sued if she does distract a team. a vest does not give permission to pass a dog for a service dog. It is the task and life saving they provide that matters. evie you will be absolutely fine 💗 when i was 8 i flew by myself as an unaccompanied minor and it was so much fun! i would suggest for you to do that, but i think as evie will be older next year i don’t think she would be able to fly as an unaccompanied minor as i think the oldest you can be is 17. i absolutely love planes and i think it’s a great experience for you as your going for a photo shoot, you’ll do amazing and i hope you have so much fun
Thats awesome she is going to love NYC. However, depending on when it is things might be shut down again. Stores and restaurants ask for vaccine cards and if not vaccinated won't let you in. I live in Upstate NY and can't wait to move to Florida in a few years.

It’s super easy ! My first flight was this year at 20 years old and I just had a friend make me a detailed to do list 😂
Even though it is setup for where no parents are necessary, I would still have one parent go with Evie. If it were me, I would want to be there to monitor things. Certainly not too the point of being a helicopter parent, but a parent should still be involved. I’m sure the modeling company are good people, but Evie should have someone there advocating for her. She can have her own room and allowed freedom, but a parent should still be there to look out for her best interest.

I’m 19 and went in an airplane for the first time this past year. The first flight was super scary and I had a panic attack but it’s kinda pretty up in the sky. Takeoff and landing are kinda scary but she will be fine :)

Absolutely not okay to put a service dog vest on a non-service dog. I have watched you all for years, and as a person with an actual disability that has a service dog, that infuriates me. Stop taking the dog into stores period. It is not cute or funny. I have passed out in a store and yet my service dog got distracted by a non-service dog and missed an alert. I am completely ok with everything you all do and have no problem but that is absolutely not ok. Please please please please please stop doing this and do not whatsoever try to ever pass her as a service dog (whether you are pretending or not.) You can actually be sued if she does distract a team. a vest does not give permission to pass a dog for a service dog. It is the task and life saving they provide that matters. FYI a real service dog doesn't require a vest nor some fake registration. Now this is worth me turning into a troll. (I really don't want to)

evie you will be absolutely fine 💗 when i was 8 i flew by myself as an unaccompanied minor and it was so much fun! i would suggest for you to do that, but i think as evie will be older next year i don’t think she would be able to fly as an unaccompanied minor as i think the oldest you can be is 17. i absolutely love planes and i think it’s a great experience for you as your going for a photo shoot, you’ll do amazing and i hope you have so much fun

Thats awesome she is going to love NYC. However, depending on when it is things might be shut down again. Stores and restaurants ask for vaccine cards and if not vaccinated won't let you in. I live in Upstate NY and can't wait to move to Florida in a few years.
