She has refused multiple times. I don’t think she wants all that pomp and circumstance for a 12 minute show that the artist has to pay for! It just cost Rhianna 1+ million bucks for this year’s show. I don’t blame any artist for not wanting to do it if they don’t pay them for all the work it takes. Pink did do an amazing Anthem though a few years ago.
One of the best of her generation. So underrated, yet most consistent in her long and amazing career. I just adore her. Not one bad album. She stayed true to her beliefs her whole career, supporting so many disadvantaged communities and LGBTQ ally her whole life. Complete singer, songwriter and entertainer. Legend for sure.
Not underrated at all. She has maintained relevancy for almost 25 years…since her 1st album. That happens to artists who are extremely talented and confident.
This is the deepest, most authentic, honest conversations I have ever seen her have. She usually skirts interviews as she hates being recognized, or complimented as it makes it makes her squirm. Something about this album is really is hitting different for her. I have never heard the details of just how hard she had to work to make it to the level she is. I knew she had a rough ride up (and she is not even at her top yet!) but this is the first time she really bared her soul. I have such mad respect for her. She is so under appreciated in America. We are only a fraction of the HUGE fan base she has overseas in so many countries. She was smart to get out of here and go make it where people accepted her and enjoyed her amazing talent. She has a bigger fan base in America now, but we sure blew it when she was coming up. She is the real deal in every thing that she has her hands in. She never gives less than everything in music, in charity work, in being a voice for causes, or being a great Mom. The music industry here was just looking for another pretty face to market and then toss when a younger pretty face came along. She saw that even at such a young age, she saw it and walked right around it to create the career SHE wanted. She is so beautiful and loving, and she was the same back 20 years ago, she was just a little rough and angry, but her beautiful heart was in there. She has grown so much. She has fought her way up and God Bless her for continuing the fight to live life on her terms. NOT the music industry terms. The new album is amazing, deep, and just soul squeezing. There is not a bad song on it. She reached in with this album and it's gonna hit every single person's heart and soul at some level. That is incredible hard to do. She is still going up when most are retiring at 40 because the young musicians who really can't sing are getting there few years of fame. Isn't life fickle? I can count on one hand singers who still sings live. Pink's voice is simply amazing.
What an honest, humble, insightful and beautiful comment- from an American perspective. I really respect your words.. and couldn't agree more. I recall in Covid Times.. there was some silly overly conservative reaction to P!nk, Corey and The Kids.. (here in Australia) and you could literally see the hurt that caused P!nk, on her beautiful face. I felt that National shame when that happened.. and really felt your words. P!nk is such a rare, special, altruistic and good soul.. and we need to protect rare souls like her at all costs. Such an awesome, ever honest, powerful and inspiring interview 💗
love the above comments about Pink, so very true and accurate, she is amazing all round, a person who makes a difference in this world, such a genuine, thoughtful and loving person you just want to be around and the best performer there is, who could top her shows, I don't know anyone even close....love her!
@@carrienz Yessss! SO well expressed.. I agree with your every word. P!nk is our world's most special Artist.. and I love and respect her so much too x 💗
THIS. As much as she has done not only in her career but for the world in general, I truly believe that she is in a way still underrated. I understand her concerts are completely sold out and that she has millions of fans, though at the same time I know a few people just in my life alone who have still yet to hear of her name, or some that do know her name but have never heard of a song of hers. She's an incredible role model. Which is something that I truly believe we are lacking in, especially when it comes down to having a woman role model. People demonize pop music in a way that I will never understand. Generalizing music into a specific genre hinders the artist and their creative outlook. I've seen plenty of artists make just a single song that's different from the genre that they're most known for and plenty of die-hard fans hate on them for it and it breaks my heart man. Let people be people and you will be surprised with what they accomplish!! ❤ Sorry that I wrote a book but at the same time I'm really not even sorry lol 😂😂
Meeting PINK is my Make a Wish.... I'm alive when I'm asleep, so I've met her iny dreams. Being awake hurts with my Chronic Illness... But asleep or awake PINK makes me happy. I will get to see her in SD,CA!!
How much I love this woman - it's silly. She'll never know how profoundly she's helping how many people just by being herself and letting herself be seen. Thank you for this amazing interview!!
“If you can reach behind you and help someone, put your hand back, and be humble enough to receive. Put your hand forward sometimes too and receive the help.” P!nk THIS!
I love her soul. She really knows herself, she tries, she WANTS to be a stable, compassionate, understanding & loving parent, she faces her fears, she doesn’t compromise her happiness for someone else’s but rather works with them so they can both find contentment. It’s so beautiful to see someone like that use their platform & power to put good into the world. It would be amazing if she and Lizzo collabed!
“I hate compliments , I do much better with criticism. Positive reinforcement is not my thing” People I have worked with have had a hard time understanding this part about me. Wow such a GREAT interview
Huge fan of how Zane Lowe interviews. So authentic, never focuses on frivolous chipping away into wanting to know personal details. He goes deep into their process with little pieces of quality story behind elements of their music. Great interview!
I just love her! How rare it is in this industry to see someone being completely themselves, raw and unapologetic. This really feels like two old pals coming together and contenplating life.
It was surely the most beautiful day, when God decided the world would be a much better place with a splash of P!NK in it. What an awesome person you are, I like you little bit more every time I see you, because you remind me of a very dear friend of mine. She also had a hard life, she chose to rise above her circumstances. She will always, always find a reason to laugh and like you, she created a beautiful family, she lives for her little boy and is an awesome Mom like you. Thank you for sharing your talent and music with us! Many blessings!
Everyone knows that i ADORE everything that Pink does... BUT I've never seen this interviewer before and WOW, the way he, Zane, asked questions, listened and made general conversation was amazing. 💖
This was my first time listening to Zane, and I definitely enjoyed his interview style. He teased some interesting details out of Pink that gave the interview some more depth than she sometimes gives. I really enjoyed it.
Definitely recommend him!! He’s one of my favorite interviewers right now. He always tries to align himself with the artist and understand them and allow the audience to also understand them. You can also always tell he is a genuine fan of the artist he interviews and isn’t just interviewing them because he’s contracted too or knows thwy will get views. (Absolutely love P!nk but also much love to Zane Lowe lol)
Personally, I thought he did too much talking & took too much of the limelight away from P!nk. I found the interview difficult to watch as a result, the guest should ALWAYS be the sole focus, not the interviewer.
@@ZIMsar10 me too! Not a fan of him either. He does talk too much! And he absolutely believes he’s killing it, but he’s not. I think Apple Music should give other interviewers a chance to be there as well.
@@Thac1403 very interesting. I don’t think you dislike him, but rather this interview format. His interviews aren’t typical clear cut question/answer presentation, it’s a conversation. Which I personally appreciate much more because it shows a very different and relaxed side of an artist. His insights and conclusions made Pink expend on her answers more.
Pink stated that her life and career started when she had children, that to me was from the heart and how I think many parents feel now a days. I know that my children opened me up to self sacrifice, insurmountable love and passion for this little person that I could share unconditional love with. I have always loved Pink and the talent she has, but her children brought out the passion, unconditional love and the desire to challenge herself more than ever before.
To have this incredible person leave the ego out the door. 😎 bless her heart, bless her voice, bless her health. This world needs humans like her to keep us sane.
Pink is just a legend. But let’s talk about Zane! He has such a gift interviewing people. He brings so much relatability, emotion and realness into his interviews. You can tell everyone he interviews is comfortable with him.
I truly believe this is the absolute best interview ever. It’s straight to the point and very honest. Pink is a wonderful artist and so real and so passionate about life. Love this so much. So much respect for you Pink!
I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if someone asked her her fav interviewer if she would pick him. They seem to be so in sync and his questions and feedback are so not.. i dont know "hollywood"?
Honestly, I'm 30 now, and without really starting to listen to P!nk and her music about 11 years ago, I always listened to her and knew who she was but after REALLY starting to listen to her, and her music helping me through so much in life, I don't know where I would be right now. She helped build my confidence up over the last decade more than she will ever know. Can't wait to listen to this album!
Same with me, I feel like PINK and I grew up together. Throughout my life her songs have been so relevant to situations I’m going through or have been through. When I was a teenager I honestly felt like she was writing songs for me. I was going through so much, feeling so much pain, I was so angry and frightened and confused and I was doing so much damage to myself and her music just got me. Then throughout my 20’s I was reflecting and healing and still learning and letting go, and now in my mid 30’s I’m still reflecting and still learning but I’m coming from a place of growth and acceptance and wisdom. She is just so incredibly human and she has the words and platform to say what I feel. She’s amazing.
I just don't have the word capacity to truly capture how much I love P!nk! I can see how much the loss of her Dad has impacted her. She's so strong and inspirational to be doing this tour.. a true example of someone who understands how precious life is.. and that it's what her Dad would want.. and her children need to see. Love you P!nk! 💗
Pink is so underrated artist, this album is so good. I love trust fall version that she sang with Kelly Clarkson. It’s a slow down version, that’s what I love about Pink that she can change the song and it’s sounds just a good even better than the original.
That was a really good, in-depth personal interview. It felt very organic, but any interview with P!nk is like that...just love her and can't wait for the album tomorrow.
I'll second that, she is the best. No one like her. She's given me songs in my life that I've needed. She's so real, and unique and authentic and she's grown so much as an artist over the years and I've resonated more with her more as I've grown up. I hope to meet you one day P!nk and give you the biggest hug and say thankyou - also would love your signature as my first tattoo 🤞 so excited for another phenomenal album 💯😁🙌🙌
my mom loved pink's music for a long time and make me fall in love with her too and even tho my mom might not like her music now, it's something amazing that her music can connect so many people
“If you’re alive then you’re committed to survive” I am fighting for my life with mitochondrial disease and trying to get my life support back. I am committed to fighting for what I need to survive. I will not give up my fight with the insurance company. I was ready to give up, but is soon as I heard this album I changed my mind.
I think that P!nk is one of the great singer out there now. The reason why i say that is because she says what is on her mind I realize that she has gotten Death threats. She has her family to look out for her family and I love that about she kind caring and sweet Because she cares her Family and she a family Protector for her family. And she loves helping people out. No matter who they are.
P!nk, you’re the coolest person I don’t know. I’ve been to two of your concerts and you’re the best performer I’ve seen, period. But above all, you’re an outstanding human. Thanks for being an example to an entire generation.
When I get there, just the song not the video I knew what it was about and I love it. It gives me ALL the feels, memories came flooding back but not bad memories and not in a bad way. I can see how it would just come to her. She's in touch with her feelings on things, which is obvious in her songs.
Seen Pinks concert at Hampden Park Scotland, waw ,incredible that she has great songs ,great voice ,great presence and then she flies around the stadium. Streisand, Houston, Dione are brilliant singers but Pink is a unique and untouchable performer imo.
Seen her twice at Hampden. She is phenomenal live. Just gutted that there is no Scottish venue. I've seen her 4 times & I will keep going back. I absolutely love p!nk. ❤️❤️❤️
As an Aussie, we have loved you and appreciated your music way before your own country took notice, so I understand why you think your career really took off when you had children, I believe you could be right, but that's their loss. We discovered you and are proud of it!
I have about 20 minutes to wait before I can download the Trustfall album - YAY. Pink is my number one favorite artist. There is the music, the lyrics, and the voice . . . her feisty attitude, and no-nonsense down to earth personality are just icing on the cake 🥰🥰😍😍.
Why did I come away from this video with tears in my eyes, but a smile on my face. This was such an authentic and beautiful interview. 💗 I love her, her music has always spoke to me and I cannot wait to see her in October.
P!nk is absolutely the best! 😍 🥰She made me feel strong and brave everytime I listen to her songs and watch her on videos. She made me feel loved and accepted.
This interview is spectacular! Zayn is an amazing interviewer. He asks all of the right questions and frames them in a way that is very polite and thought-provoking. Pink is one of my favorites. Chef's kiss to both of them!
Listening to you talk about school and being a high school dropout. I think school works for some things. My son early on was fascinated by the TV show, the million dollar man. He realized that if he wanted to do that kind of work, he needed to buckle down and apply himself. He got excellent grades and was accepted into the Virginia Tech Engineering Program. He pursued his dream and got his Masters in Bioengineering. He has been working on bionic arms. You found your path. You are bringing joy to us. I really appreciate your choice l. Your path. My path has been unclear. Only from time to time do the waters become clear. But I have muddled my way through life and have made contributions. Keep being you!
The first album I listened to in my first ever casette player was Missundaztood, so that's a life long lovestory with Pink music for me. Been with me through the years of happiness and sorrow. I have always admired Pink for her outspoken self and for her talent to remain true to herself and evolve her music along all these years. Lots of love
Not everyone can get what they need from the classroom, and people who have never traveled outside that box don't realize how much they don't know. Life can't be truly enjoyed and experienced from a chair. Get what you need from school and then explore the world and figure out where you fit in and what makes people passionate!
Learning from many teachers from all over the world while traveling the globe instead of a book and a classroom can easily make you the smartest person in the room! Willow and Jamison will be brilliant, just like mom
Pink will always be Pink and that’s why she’s the best! Such a great insightful interview/engaging! Even her laugh is the same like on her song “You Make Me Sick”.
I just rewatch this interview every few weeks - bc I love it. So authentic, deep and amazing. Zane Lowe is a great interviewer. Interesting conversation - doesn't feel like an interview. I love the vibe - I adore P!NK even more.
Zane is so ingenious. He feels this exact way about any artist he meets. It’s like he took a psych 101 class and ran with it, thinking he’s a therapist
Oh my! In just the first few words, I have learned so much. I don’t know you, Alecia, how can I love you so much? You are my daughter’s age. I might be your father’s age. Thank you for being you! Taking a line from Desiderata, you are a child of the Universe.
P!NK has always been my absolute favorite! My husband calls her my alter ego. If only I were more vocal and outspoken. Well, here I am being open. My 19 year old daughter (also an amazing singer) was recently diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor which is causing her to have epilepsy. It would mean everything for me to be able to bring her to a concert but the strobe/flashing lights are a trigger for seizures. Please please make a strobe free show! Wish there was a foundation that organized artists around shows that are safe in epilepsy.
All the very best to you and your lovely Daughter. I really hope P!nk sees your comment.. she would be the first to make your Daughter's dream come true 💗🙏
I have always admired Pink and looked up to her as a woman. And listening to this just made it even more special. I think she's right, having kids, softens us, esp if we are used to being the independent, strong woman. We realize there are little humans that depend on us to teach them the world. And as much as you want to prepare them for the mean ugliness, you can't help but want to protect them from all that and show them how beautiful this world is! ❤️ Great interview!
In pink's own words we don't change, we take the gravel and the shell & we make a perl. We help others to change. So they can see more kinds of BEAUTY !! . Loved pink right from when she was getting the party started., to raising a glass. But I have to say trustfall is an Absolute BENGER. I HAVE IT ON repeat
Zane: "How are you with change?" P!nk: "I hate it." I started talking to the speakers. "You may hate it, but you crave it! ... It isn't about 'chaos.' It's about Change and Growth." And as many of you will note, Growth is both change and chaos, but it's also Beautiful. It's what makes life worth living. "Constantly changing. Constantly growing. Fully human. Fully Alive." Between Amy Lee and P!nk, I found people who spoke to my trauma and my person. I come from shady stuff, but it is and was all beautiful. Thank you, Zane. I love your interviews!
Pink , she is the kindest heart and soul . it doesn't come easily, in addition to that, it's just a pleasure to see her beautiful, smart. what more do you need, I'm a fan of the weeknd and what he does
It's funny to me that she said she tries to be cool, because in my mind she is so uniquely and effortlessly cool, like no other, literally. It really shows how we, as humans, don't percieve ourselves quite accurately, and can be too judgemental and often insecure, even if/when we are super successful. Anyways, loved this interview and loved her rawness mixed with gentleness (as usual) and I'm wishing her all the success and happiness in the world 🌞.

OMG, I definitely think of Pink as a Trail Blazer!!!! So humble.
Pink we need a podcast of all her crazy storys
I just don't have the word capacity to truly capture how much I love P!nk! I can see how much the loss of her Dad has impacted her. She's so strong and inspirational to be doing this tour.. a true example of someone who understands how precious life is.. and that it's what her Dad would want.. and her children need to see. Love you P!nk! 💗
I love P!nk!!!!! I could listen to her talk all day long..... I can’t work without listening to her everyday!!!!!
Pink is so underrated artist, this album is so good. I love trust fall version that she sang with Kelly Clarkson. It’s a slow down version, that’s what I love about Pink that she can change the song and it’s sounds just a good even better than the original.
No matter when you stop the vid, Pink looks flawless.
Ahah.. I just tested your theory... and yessss, you are spot-on 💗
@@natalielawrence8809 😃❤
She truly is the music industry. She’s got it all. I can’t wait to see her headline BST Hyde Park in June, as she should
That was a really good, in-depth personal interview. It felt very organic, but any interview with P!nk is like that...just love her and can't wait for the album tomorrow.
Been in love with her since high school I’m 33 now..her music her soul her story…love this woman
Such an interesting personality. I could listen to this woman forever 💖
The more I hear from her the more I adore love and respect and most definitely appreciate Pink and her LIFE!
Thank you both for relaxing into this moment and having an actual conversation, really enjoyed being there with you both!
my mom loved pink's music for a long time and make me fall in love with her too and even tho my mom might not like her music now, it's something amazing that her music can connect so many people
The mizundertood laugh comes out a few times in this interview and I'm here for it!
She definitely is the best!
I love her ability to express herself in her songs and that they also resonate with me! She's unbelievable as an artist and a mom!
This whole interview with Pink is just a beautiful, real, gift to the world 💕
Pink speaks so much sense. Love her for the amazing human being that she is x
A most INCREDIBLE human being. She is real.
This was such a great conversation!!! Felt like I was on facetime with them, such an authentic conversation
Pink, the song from Tina Turner is what befits you, 'Your Simply the Best'!!! Love you.
God I love her laugh. And her. And her music. And her heart.🌸💘🌷💕🌸💘🌷💕
Pink is such a great person. But also him is a perfect interviewer. Chapeau
P!nk, you’re the coolest person I don’t know. I’ve been to two of your concerts and you’re the best performer I’ve seen, period. But above all, you’re an outstanding human. Thanks for being an example to an entire generation.
What an awesome interview! Pink truly is a force to be reckoned with! Not only is she legend status, she is raising phenomenal, conscious children.
No wonder I like her music, her parents had awesome taste in music!
Why did I come away from this video with tears in my eyes, but a smile on my face. This was such an authentic and beautiful interview. 💗 I love her, her music has always spoke to me and I cannot wait to see her in October.
We’re all *P!NK* inside!!!
P!nk is absolutely the best! 😍 🥰She made me feel strong and brave everytime I listen to her songs and watch her on videos. She made me feel loved and accepted.
Just saw her in concert for the first time here in San Diego Sept 11, 2024. MOST ELECTRIC CONCERT I've ever been too!!!!
She is so beautiful and real. She’s an amazing human being ❤️ I love her ❤️
I am so stunned at how similar we are , in an emotional sense!
No wonder I love her so much!
@21:00 - SHE IS ABSOLUTELY A TRAILBLAZER! She makes people feel and she shows people that they can do anything they set their mind to!
This is a Grammy Album !
I love her!! She’s Honest and stands up for people that are broken and beaten down! She’s awesome 😎 and I’ll love her till the day I Die!!
Phenomenal conversation with both. Mutual respectful flow of tremendous topically coverage. Covering a variety of factors and emotions. 👏 BRAVO
@@natalielawrence8809 oh for sure! Thank you for this very kind response 💜
@@katebruno9255 😘
one of my favorite human beings in the world..
I love her so much...P!nk is one of my all time favorites next to Alanis and Shakira. She doesn't know me and somehow SHE GETS ME lol
how can you not love this woman. ❤❤❤❤
PINK IS SO INCREDIBLY 💗 BEAUTIFUL, AND A TRULY BEAUTIFUL SPIRIT! PEACE ✌️ ☮️ 🕊OH, AND PRAISE! HOLLA BEBE
Love Pink, I love her drive and ambition! She says what’s on her mind, and she brings out that in her music.
This interview is awesome! Love P!nk, love the album, and really loved the interview.
Listening to this woman speak is a head massage
I love that she said that when she had children it softened her to the world. It’s when I found her. I don’t relate to her before that.
i just love her so much. the best role model. ❤
I love pink but also this interviewer. He is so great at what he does and filled with depth and insight.
I love this woman so so much, she doesn't sugar-coat anything
I can't wait to hear this album live I've loved her and her music since I was like 13. She's not only great artist but a role model for me.
Pink , she is the kindest heart and soul .
it doesn't come easily, in addition to that, it's just a pleasure to see her beautiful, smart. what more do you need,
I'm a fan of the weeknd and what he does
It's funny to me that she said she tries to be cool, because in my mind she is so uniquely and effortlessly cool, like no other, literally.
Zane Lowe hands down is one of my fave interviewers, and could literally watch all his interviews consecutively all night 😍
